I am thoroughly looking forward to the release of Warcraft III, which is scheduled for summer 2001. I have been a fan of the series for quite a while now, and from every indication so far, this release appears to take the next logical step in the continued evolution of the series. In general, Blizzard has done an excellent job of improving virtually everything, and as I write this, the designers are still hard at work, playing, tweaking, and perfecting the game. Now for me comes the hard part – conning…err I mean…convincing my boss to let me review the full version.
