For many gamers SiN often would fall into the realm of classic gaming, a once intense shooter for older generations lost in the ages with the introduction of more and more FPS games, Ritual moved on in their own work during this time and for the most part SiN went out of the public scope. In the past year gamers have been hearing a lot about SiN and the episodic series development coming to the PC via the Source engine by Valve. The franchise indeed would live on, but with only a short amount of teaser shots to lead gamers on would it be enough? This is what we're here to settle today as we enter Episode 1 of the Sin world.

Our cast as you can see is quite diverse with our hero figures and of course villains.

SiN Emergence casts players as HardCorps commander John Blade, stepping into the living world of Freeport City to defend humankind against Elexis Sinclaire, a beautiful and ruthless scientist out to remake humanity according to her own twisted vision. The law has failed to bring Elexis and her SiNTEK empire to justice, so you and your allies, the secretive hacker JC and fiery rookie Jessica Cannon, must bring down Sinclaire and her mutants before she can set her deadly plan in motion and forever alter the shape of humanity.

As many might guess at this point the story takes on a new development and is not merely just a port of the previous game, although some elements of course remain to stay in touch with the SiN universe.
