Space Ponies
Started in the Beta era of Sins, the Space Ponies are a group of players so dedicated that they had a Space Pony achievement put in the game to honor them. They sent the Ironclad team some special Space Pony hats and, for the first time ever, here's a picture of Craig, Blair and Josie proudly wearing their Space Pony hats.

The Future of Sins
With Entrenchment just around the corner, next up is the unnamed diplomacy-themed micro-expansion. It's ballparked for a February 2009 release and will be a big change from Entrenchment on two levels. First - fewer battle add-ons. Instead, you'll be able to dive into more involved dealings with your neighbors and, in doing so, uncover a lot more of the story behind Sins of a Solar Empire. It's something Craig and Blair are really excited about because the epic story of Sins has already been written and they're eager to share it, as soon as they find a way that will let the story grab you and drag you through an empire-spanning tale of... sorry, they didn't let any of those the details slip. I sure am curious about what the Vasari are running from though!
The Final Word
So there you go, a look at what's going on in the world of Ironclad and Sins of a Solar Empire. The Entrenchment micro-expansion releases on November 18 for $10. The second expansion is due around March with a third sometime near June. There have been rumors that they'll be combined into a single three-expansion summer pack but apparently that's not the case. In any case, once you add the $10 for Entrenchment to the cost of the original game pack, Sins will, finally, cost as much as the rest of the games on the market.
