The AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ performed exactly as we would expect it to - between the X2 3800+ and the X2 5000+, closer in performance to the 3800+.

The overclocked X2 4200+ came very close to matching the performance of the FX-62!

Content Creation

Again, the AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ was where we would expect at stock speeds; and while it came close to matching the performance of the FX-62 when it was overclocked, the FX-62 flexed its muscles and was still a good three points ahead.
