A new GTS: the 8800 GTS 512 - PAGE 13
Kevin Spiess - Wednesday, December 12th, 2007

I was expecting Crysis to run in SLI mode with the 169.21 Forceware drivers, but for whatever reason, they did not seem to want to deliver insane performance. Oh well. There are still some interesting numbers to look at.

It looks like we have a winner folks. The winner is the new GTS. The Asus EN8800 GTS truly rises to the T.O.P, and the XFX Alpha Dog has a whole lot of bite.

By edging out the EN8800 GTX, even at 1600x1200 with AA on, we just might be able to declare a new king of the hill here -- unless, of couse, you are set on spending a mint on a 8800 Ultra.

On the other side of the coin though, for a difference of somewhere in the ballpark of $100 USD, both 8800 GT's seem to be in the right place.

Stimulating results!
