Asus Blitz Extreme Motherboard - PAGE 15
J. Micah Grunert - Tuesday, September 18th, 2007

I have to say, the Asus Bllitz Extreme motherboard didn't do too bad at all. In fact, the overclocking results illustrate quite well the sensitive relationship between FSB speeds, memory speeds and system performance. Case in point being our first test, Doom 3.

The low bus, high multiplier and high memory made the Blitz a winner. You can also see how shifting those settings higher or lower impacted the benchmark.

A pretty good spread

WinRAR loves fast memory, seemingly regardless of the high latencies.

Both of the SiSoft Sandra test felt a little average, though quite respectable.

And needless to say that I am quite happy with the high memory bandwidth the Asus Blitz Extreme is capable of.

We can start drawing some definte conclusions now with regards to the Asus Blitz and its better than most overclocking potential.
