Since the memory timings are nearly identical, and the memory clock equivalent between the two, the only explanation for these differences is that the GA-965P-DQ6's BIOS is less aggressive in its internal memory subsystem tweaking, or perhaps that the P5B's BIOS is very aggressive in this respect.
