Oh my.

If you do a lot of MP3 encoding, get a Conroe. It's that simple.

You may well ask why the stock E6700 result is so high? It's simple. It looks like earlier I made an error and used the wrong type of motion filter when testing the E6700. I will re-run that benchmark on it, and update this chart.

The stock conroe is 51 seconds faster than the stock X2 5000+ and the overclocked Conroe dominates the chart, beating the overclocked X2 by 4 minutes and 17 seconds.,
