Core 2 Duo E2160 - Budget dual core on review - PAGE 4
William Henning - Tuesday, August 21st, 2007

Sandra Tests

Hmm.. I definitely see a pattern emerging.

The stock speed E2140 and E2160 always seem to wind up at the bottom of the charts; however once overclocked do well against their dual core Core 2 bretheren running at stock, however the Quad core chips beat up even the overclocked E2160 even when the quads are running at stock.

The memory performance of the overclocked E2160 beats all of the Core 2 stock readings; however you can clearly see the benefit of an integrated memory controller; it allows the AMD X2 4200+ to beat even the overclocked E2160 handily for Sandra memory bandwidth.
