Corsair TWINX2048-4000PT - PAGE 5
William Henning - Tuesday, November 1st, 2005

RightMark Read Bandwidth

The XMS 4000 took top honors here! Granted, the fact that I was able to get the processor to run at a blistering 3.025GHz had a lot to do with it - and high bus speed is very important, as the second result was from a processor running at 2.4GHz but with a faster 300MHz bus.

These numbers are excellent. It is gratifying to see greater than 8GB/sec memory read speeds!

RightMark Write Bandwidth

Write bandwidth was also won by the XMS 4000 - but this time a lower clock speed with tighter 1T memory latencies won the day. This result is to be expected, because writes tend to be shorter and involve more page setup for the DDR controller.
