Foxconn 975X7AA - PAGE 7
J. Micah Grunert - Tuesday, April 18th, 2006

Memory bandwidth scores between the top three motherboards is unusually very similar. Only the ECS, with its major performance anomaly, breaks the continuity.

WinRAR makes the difference between DDR2-667 and DDR2-800 clear as day. The 975X7AA and PF22 simply don't stand a chance with their lower memory clock speed.

The Foxconn 975X7AA's SATA implementation is on-par with the competition. Only the P5N32-SLI seemed to have a bit of an advantage with its burst read performance. In general, the figures are very close.

Nothing to see here, except perhaps a quick gawk at the P5N32's slightly lower average read performance. Move along.

USB 2.0 performance is always going to be a battle of CPU utilization given a proper implementation. Data transfer rates are identical all across the board, but CPU utilization varies greatly. The 975X7AA comes in very respectably at second place, beaten only by the P5N32.
