THE GOOD: - Loads of innovations - Scary like nothin' else - Huge scenarios - Brilliant gameplay
THE BAD: - won't let you go to bed with a feeling of safety ;-)
SUMMARY: First of all, a piece of warning: This is not a common action game, it isn't a common horror-game either. It isn't a common game at all!!! Illbleed contains stuff that you won't experience in any other game. It's truly a first in the survivor-horror genre.
Illbleed is about getting scared...and things you even don't wanna be thinking about. It's about all fears everyone eventually has.
The main idea of the game (besides scaring you to death) is to move forward slowly and to use the Horror Monitor, which is a night-goggle-like device in order to find and warn the multiple shock effects that await you while you wander through the areas. By doing so, you will be able to prevent your character from fainting or dying (when it comes to the worst). In between you will be encountered with a wide variety of enemies which range from mutant sand-worms to evil dolls. To get rid of them you will use different weapons which including axes, baseball bats and flame throwers. There are also some mind-bursting puzzles to deal with.
Throughout the game you'll have to clear more than six different attractions made up by Michael Reynolds which all include completly different background settings.
There is almost nothing bad to mention about the game besides the fact that some passages may be a little too hard for the average player.
Illbleed is one of the greatest and most exciting games i've ever played... If u think Resident Evil was scary then you have seen nothing yet, believe me. ........Dummyman will be waitin for you.....hahahahaha

THE GOOD: The scariest survival horror game ever, even good enough to rival Resident Evil 2THE BAD: You have to find the horror monitor and without it there is no way to survive SUMMARY: Game players have been waiting for a long time now to get hold of a decent game that can scare the pants off you and Illbleed does just that. Full of shocks and surprises with the emphasis of using your keen senses to survive a mad world of zombies, traps, mutants and even psycho crash dummies just to win a measly $100 milion dollars (waste of time or what?). The actual horror element of the game is probably the most adrenalin pumping I have ever seen, even better than when the tyrant first walked around the corridor at you in the 2nd scenario of Resident Evil 2. |

THE GOOD: The innovation in terms of gameplay.THE BAD: Bad cinematics. SUMMARY: Good horror game on DC. Graphics are on par with most of the games. Souds effects, musics and voice acting really put you in the game. But the strongest point of the game is the gameplay: Detect booby traps or die! You can die from an heart attack, bleeding to death or just loose all your hit points! For the trap detection you`ll need adrenaline. So you got to check every aspect of your character and use your head to beat the game. The difficulty level is between medium and hard. So if you give this game a chance... chills are guaranted! |
