THE GOOD: Very very hard. Very very long. Cool concept for weapons. THE BAD: graphics could be better... it's basically impossible to beat this unless you unlock everything. The store unlock system is very flawed. SUMMARY: As you play, you gather points. Sure a billion points seems like a lot, and you think you can buy some extra lives or continues so you can go further but boy are you wrong.
You need about 1.2 sextillion points to buy 7 continues. I've already unlocked 5 and it's nowhere near enough to allow me to get even near the end of the game.
All these cool features are unlockable by gaining points... the hard part is getting them.
To get massive points you need to stay alive, which starting with the second stage on...seems like a real challenge if you're playing alone. Even with two players it's incredibly hard.
This bring the frustration levels to monstrous proportions.
Good thing you got something called Mosquito to win. You have this power meter that allows your to "eat/absorb enemy shots"... but that attack can only be done when that slow recharging meter is full. If you hold it long enough you'll do a bomb and everything will die... but your meter will start from zero. You can use the metter a little so recharging back to full won't hurt you too much but in many cases it's fatal.
As an experience shooter fan, I say this tops them all for impossibility. You have to try this. But be warned, if you give up easily, are easily frustrated, or are a beginner stay away: FAR AWAY. |
