Let me elaborate... SUMMARY:
Anyone who played games on their brand spanking new 486 Aptiva back in 94 (or was it earlier ?) had Price of Persia to play. The game was terrible then, and it's terrible now. The story is horribly cliched (but I guess back in 94 it was a little more novel), the levels are redundant, the controls are slippery (why the hell can't you move forward mid-jump!), and everything else is just insulting to your intelligence. Probably the biggest gripe I have with this game, and the original is it's too unforgiving. You mess up, and it's often you are screwed. Perfect timing is essential all the time, everywhere.
I borrowed this game from a friend just to check it out (what the heck, its free). Waste of time. |
