THE GOOD:
Unbelievably good graphics, great sound, and DEEP gameplay. Exceptional replay value.

THE BAD:
Isn`t the best, but close enough for anyone to buy anytime.

SUMMARY:
Just one word: BUY! Soul Calibur is the game that truly shows what DC can do. It has the best character modelling yet seen in any game and one of the most ambitious gameplay systems seen in a fighting game.
Detailed analysis of this game is just redundant, just get it!

Soul Calibur is one of the first Dreamcast games released and is one of the best beat-em-up games in history. In the beginning, I just selected Sonic Adventure as I have my own financial problems at that time. After having a couple of bucks, I shelled out some money and this game is mine. It's actually a fighting game that leads you to a new world, with dozens of missions for you to do and for you to unlock all the playable secret characters.

Graphics – 10
The sleek and beautiful introduction in a form of FMV was astoundingly amazing. This game will show all the characters at once with a rapid, beating music, flashing movements and flawless animations. If you have unlock more secret characters, they will be in the introduction of the game. Cool feature from Namco! While in the game itself, Namco enhanced the graphics from the arcade machine and everything was a simple port with numerous improvements. As this game was superior between the two versions, you'll see the...
THE GOOD:
Everything

THE BAD:
Mitsurugi has no nipples. It would've been nice to have interactive stages. I could't find anything else wrong with it.

SUMMARY:
This is one of the first games to come out for the Dreamcast, and it's still one of the best. The graphics are absolutely amazing. The characters almost look real. The game plays well too. Anyone who has a Dreamcast must buy this game. If you don't have a Dreamcast, make this game a reason to buy one.

THE GOOD:
Great characters, great graphics, lots of moves per character, versus, good music and voices as well.

THE BAD:
Out-of-ring

SUMMARY:
This game ruled of awsomeness.Even though it was one of the fist on Dreamcast it is still one of the best today.I haven't seen a better fighting game ever! The only downside was getting a surre victory snatched away from you with an out-of-ring.

THE GOOD:
Pretty much everything. It should be more popular than Mortal Combat, in my opinion.

THE BAD:
~The narator is annoying but fun to imitate.
~Out of the rings are an easy way to win, but it isn't fun when it happens to you!!!!!!!
~Mission Battle gets hard. So hard it'll take you about 3 months to beaat it!

SUMMARY:
When I wake up every morning, Soul Calibur's what I play. It's things you won't find any where else. It has a list that shows you all yoour moves. It has museum that features:
~An Art Gallery
~A Battle Theatre(CPU vs. itslf)
~An Exhibition Theatre
~Of coarse, Character Profiles

There is is so much more, but I want you to rent this game for yourself(Any one you says the music sucks can go F*@ up a tree!)

THE GOOD:
Best fighting game ever made.

THE BAD:
Would be nice to be able to throw things.

SUMMARY:
De facto standard in fighting games. I know I fought at a sega competition.

THE GOOD:
Graphics, gameplay, extras. EVERYTHING IS PERFECT.

THE BAD:
The short loading times. I wish there weren't any.

SUMMARY:
This is caters to both experienced fighters, and the button smashers.

The Defence system is superior by far. The Gameplay is superbly balanced allowing you to win with any of the character, as long as you have the skill to use him or her.

Move look realistic, modeled after actually fighting styles.

Graphics are superior to the arcade's. Features are almost endless.

Like the game says: "and the soul still burns..."

because you know what? I'll always play this game... Best fighter ever. MvsC or CvsSNK doesn't even compare. This is more landmark than SF2.

DC is the ultimate fighting game console.

THE GOOD:
Great graphics and gameplay. Several characters and modes to play and unlock.

THE BAD:
The way the announcer talks and everything about "Cer-panties".

SUMMARY:
Another great Dreamcast fighting game, Soul Calibur offers a wide variety of replayable game value. Aside from arcade mode, the mission mode offers and hours and hours of endless fun and frustration. Some levels are quick and simple while others are harder and more challenging. Great and challenging for Dreamcast fighting fans
