THE GOOD:
great storyline, nifty features(shifting realms is just awesome) and innovative puzzle features

THE BAD:
a little too easy and a cliffhanger of an ending but not really much else

SUMMARY:
this is a great game for psone im relly surprised that a game this good looking could exist on that platform. even today with the next gen systems it is still worth checking out. the best feature has got to be raziel's ability to shift between the real world and the spirit world, that adds so much to the atmosphere and the gameplay. this game is definetly recommended if you own a psone, and if you have a ps2 it is still worth renting. the storyline of the game really draws you in. the fantastic world of nosgoth has its own mythos that is presented in the game through clever movies and interactions with other characters and environments. the story is both gripping and dramatic. i recommend this game for an older audience looking for a game that is...

THE GOOD:
Difficult puzzles. Beautiful graphics. Good plot, up to the abrubt cliff-hanger.

THE BAD:
That Information Socity pun I used in my title.

SUMMARY:
Now I realize that this game is pretty old, but it was still the first game I bought for my Dreamcast back about a month ago. Normally I at least look to see what kind of game I'm buying. I'm a fairly intelligent consumer: buy what you like. Well, in this particular case I was only going on the one piece of knowledge I had about Soul Reaver: Incidental Music by Information Society! That sold me on the game and I'll have to say I'm happy it did. I normally wouldn't have bothered with a game like this -- vampires aren't my style. But the Opening movie hooked me. The animation was impressive and the voice acting was amazing. As I played through the game it impressed me with its fluid control and a gripping story.
