SUMMARY:
Animal Crossing: Wild World was the very first Nintendo DS game I ever bought and played. And by far it's one of the best. Since I had played the first Animal Crossing game I had expected for this game to be good but not amazing! It really blew my socks off, and I couldn't ever get enough of it, so I played the game all day and all night!

Animal Crossing: Wild World was released on December 5th of 2005. Just like it's first game, it was developed and published by Nintendo. Animal Crossing: Wild World was to me the best game of that year, and still is today.

When beginning the game, your character will enter the town, buying a house, then beginning his/hers life. Just like in the first Animal Crossing game there are debts on the house and with each upgrade made the debt will rise. Finding a good strategy for making money a must when trying to pay off all your debt!

Soon after playing the game you'll notice while, walking around, shopping, picking weeds, planting flowers, talking to villagers, etc that the graphics are quite excellent. To me they looked just the same as the first Animal Crossing game except better! Wild World's graphics are also a bit different from that of Animal Crossing's first game, instead of just moving to a different place on the map and the screen stays in it's same position, this time it moves as if your character was walking on a round object/globe. With this new feature houses, trees, flowers, weeds, and villagers themselves can be seen much better.

Along with the great new graphics and its features, Animal Crossing: Wild World also allows your character to fish and catch bugs just like in the first game. But this time fishing and bug catching can be done with more determination because of the large amounts of new types of fish and bugs that can be found. Not only are there more to find but they're also very exotic and rare. Bugs and fish are now also hard to find, the more special and colorful ones being the rarest while the less colorful and exotic being most common. Even if they are hard to find one of the features that stayed the same is that when you want to catch or fish for something it's done the exact same way you would in the first Animal Crossing game.

Unlike the very first Animal Crossing game, Wild World is played on the Nintendo DS and has wifi capabilities. For me I not only think that this is a great feature but wifi also made the game much more enjoyable and fun. Most of the reason I kept playing was to enjoy the wifi side of Animal Crossing. On wifi you can go to other people's towns or just stay at your own, so leave your gates open for another person to come through. Another feature that wifi adds is that you can chat with your visitors by using a small key board screen built in with the game. To me I think that a voice feature would be much better in this case due to the fact that pointing at each and every letter on the board gets rather stressful and tiring.

Animal Crossing: Wild World still has fruit trees just like the first game did. But obtaining these fruit trees may be hard because when starting out your town only has one native fruit tree it could ether be an apple, orange, cherry, peach, or pear tree. The towns also can grow coconut trees but these can only be grown close to the beach, coconuts also are usually only found by being given one from your mom or on washed up on the beach itself. The only thing I'm complaining about with the whole growing fruits thing is that I wished there could be vegetable crops you could grow, even though there are turnips I think Animal Crossing would be even better if carrots, potatoes, radishes, cucumbers, green beans, and other veggies could be grown.

Another great feature in Animal Crossing: Wild World is just like with the first game this game has great music! Personally to me I think the music is not only good but it makes me feel the vibe of the game even better. Without the music I know that I definitely wouldn't like the game as much.

A feature that is very unlike and different from the very first Animal Crossing game is that in this game flower hybrids can be made. This new feature is probably one of the most fun and awesome things that Animal Crossing: Wild Wolrd offers. Even though making these flowers was challenging I always looked forward to finding them each and every day. It truly made my experience while playing Wild World so much more amazing!

So wither it be shopping, fishing, catching bugs, planting flowers, growing fruit trees, paying off your dept, etc there is always something in Animal Crossing: Wild World that you can have fun with. Never will you get bored again, because while playing this game you will have the time of your gaming life!
