"Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales is a great youngsters alternative to Wario Ware: Touched!, Feel The Magic XX/XY, or Rub Rabbids. It is filled with mini-games that are deeper than the hyperactive Wario Wares and a storyline that is more familiar to kids than that in Feel The Magic and Rub Rabbits. Chocobo Tales doesnt last forever, and is only its best in spurts, but is a decent package for younger Final Fantasy fans to try."

"In fact, you can play just about all of Chocobo Tales' card-battling, minigame, and microgame content from the front end, without having to jump into the story mode. As you'd expect, all the minigames and microgames you've found during your quest will be available for play here, and you can even play quite a few of the minigames with up to three other players via local Wi-Fi play."

"It might be squarely aimed at the younger crowd, but Chocobo Tales is highly charming and a great choice for players of all ages."

"Don't expect a huge, elaborate "the world's gonna end and we're gonna die!" emo storyline in Chocobo Tales, because the only danger here is a diabetic coma from the sugary sweet overload. The mini-games are clever and fun, and the card battle actually offers something simple yet challenging, and significantly different from the Yu-Gi-Oh crowd. This game surprised me on how fun it was; even if you're not a Final Fantasy junky I think you'll like it too."

"Collecting cards and beefing up the deck is pretty addictive, although the only problem is that some of the battles drag on far too long at times."
