THE GOOD:
Impressive graphics push the Nintendo DS nearly to it's limits, character and map design optimized specifically for the DS! Plenty of side quests, ranging from treasure hunts to monster removal, that will have you playing long after the final battle. Classic turn-based combat makes a return! An almost impressive musical score, featuring jaunty town tunes and epic battle tracks the you've come to expect from the Dragon Quest name. The ability to connect with up to three other players via the Nintendo DS's local wireless capabilities or Nintendo Wi-Fi!

THE BAD:
Some of the side-quests are a bit boring, such as the "change into this outfit" or "slay X amount of these monsters" style quests.
