Background:
Return to the battlefields of ancient China to fight an army of ruthless soldiers from 2nd Century China. As one of 42 playable characters, you'll have access to powerful weapons and lethal fighting skills.Each character has a weapon ranging from a sword to a long pike. The motion is smooth and fluid and each character has plenty of unique attacks to learn. With modes like arcade and practice mode, there's more than enough here to keep you occupied.

Gameplay:
Unique to the DS version of Dynasty Warriors is a "battlefield area system," which creates new strategic gameplay and shorter periods of play, and an officer system that gives you control of your bodyguards. With hundreds of bodyguards to discover, you can collect and select which officers to take into battle and also trade them with your friends using the Memory Stick Duo.
