Defeated the Elite Four, now working on the National PokeDex. I took my time playing this game, spending lots of time in The Underground and doing lots of EV Training with several different Pokemon, from originals like Raichu, Graveler, and Haunter to the newest Pokemon like Infernape, Staraptor, Lucario, and Dialga. I enjoyed this game a lot. The other reason why I took so long to complete this game has no reflection on my skills as a gamer--it's because of how much I enjoyed the new features of this game, and now that I'm working a job I have less time available to play video games. Regardless, I'm still as good as I have been in my 15+ years of gaming. |

Fully complete pokédex - excluding unreleased events - more than 12 level 100 pokemon with full EVs, many master contest ribbons in all areas, 40+ shinies from gts self and trades, and complete battle tower. Pretty much only thing not done is stuff in the underground, as I do not know anyone who has D/P.
I'm a vet pokemon game player, but onceI got access to GTS to go set up camp there and stare at the magic of wifi so that wasted a bunch of time
No cheat devices used. Judging by some of the times here... Seriously, it takes like 2 hours to do all the bloody walking in its self. |

I chose Torterra and wiped every trainer across the floor. The Elite 4 wasn't as hard as usual and catching Dialga could have been harder. I have quite a few shiny Pokémon, have completed the Shinoh Dex, nearly completed the national Dex and have 3-4 stars on my trainer card.
Very fun. |

That's just how long til I beat the Elite Four. And I prefer having fun with the story, not just blazing through just so I could transfer. That's just how long it took. |
