THE GOOD:
The game is overall very addicting and will keep you busy for well over 200 hours. With the addition of many new features, one including making poffin, you'll have a lot of fun and exploring to do. Poffin is the equivalent of Pokeblocks in the GBA games. As well as new features there are also new Pokemon, new items, new berries, new Pokeballs, new ways of evolution and etc. The Poketch is something that does wonders for you and your quests to become a Pokemon master. You can also transfer Pokemon from your old games after completing your National Pokedex. Online play has now been added to Pokemon Diamond and you can battle and trade with anyone in the world. This portion of the game has added at least 50-70 hours of play time on my game. THE BAD:

Good: This installment in the pokemon seres would be the fourth one. There are many new features to this game for it has been 2 years since the release of the other Pokemon games. There are a few new things added, here are a few that I will list here with good points of the game. -New 3D Graphics -New pokemon -New items -Wi Fi -New trading over wifi THE BAD: SUMMARY:
THE GOOD:
-Great graphics. -Fitting music. -New PKMN. -Migrate PKMN from GBA. -WiFi -Battle moves. As time goes on, graphics will get better and better for gaming system. And no doubt, the DS doesn't disappoint us with PKMN. Some of the new PKMN are very intriguing along with their good battle moves. Also, you can migrate PKMN from GBA which saves a great amount on time on hunting the variety of PKMN. Able to trade over WiFi is great. I love the fact you can trade with people around the world. I've been a fan of this series since it first came out and I admit I still loyally play each new installment (of the main franchise, not the spinoffs). Personally, I'd say this is one of the best handheld RPGs of all time. It's simplicity is deceptively appealing, but strategies end up being surprisingly deep. And as each new installment adds plenty of new moves to the game, creating that perfect moveset becomes all the more challenging. That said, I'll leave a few first impressions on this game. My girlfriend has Diamond (I have Pearl) and we've both put about 20 hours in: here's what I can say so far. The Poketch application, which uses the DS touch screen is by far the best addition to the game. It has at least a dozen different features (unlockable as the game progresses) and while some are basic and essentially pointless, like the "counter", which you manually increase for no apparent reason, others are quite useful. You can now check how...
THE GOOD:
- Pokemon is back and as fun as ever; become a Pokemon trainer and travel the world collecting the little creatures, beating Gym leaders and trainers and earning badges, and fight the Elite Four in the end and become the best trainer; there are even things to do and see after you beam the Elite Four - Most challenging game in the series - Best graphics of the series (sorta), even though the 3D graphics look and feel very odd at times; Pokemon and battle fields look better than ever - Longest game in the series - One large map with a lot to do and see - The ability to run! (not just walk around slowly) - Enemy trainers move! You don't have to stupidly walk into them anymore to talk/battle '" they might come to you - Battles are more fun than they have ever been - Double battles are really cool - Choose a gender of main character and name them - Collect/catch 400 different Pokemon creatures in Pokeballs and...

THE GOOD:
- The graphics - Wifi battling and trading - Night and day is back - A large map - A slightly longer story line - Many new Legends - The new style of contests - Use of 2 screens (Because it is the first pokemon game of its kind on Nintendo DS) - Many pokemon before and after you beat the elite four to catch. - The Underground - Migrating pokemon from old games -Many small extra features THE BAD: SUMMARY:
THE GOOD:
The game has some great things about it. It gives you the classic Pokemon feel, yet is an entirely new game. The game makes you keep wanting to play. It's addicting, attempting to catch them all! Another great thing about this game is the WiFi play. It is awesome to be able to connect with buddies, or anyone in the world, and trade Pokemon. The Friend Code system is a way to verify who you are playing against. THE BAD:
THE GOOD:
New Pokemon, being able to Migrate Pokemon from the old games, and having new evolutions from old Pokemon are a few main points. The PokeTech is useful, and makes doing tedious tasks, less tedious. The PokeRadar makes finding certain Pokemon difficult, but it adds to the experience. Also, with the PokeRadar, you can get chains of Pokemon, making shinnies easier to get. I'll go more in depth with this later. The new gym leaders are also exciting. Some new types have been tried, as well as the fact that now they are not limited to a certain type of Pokemon, but just a certain type of move. This allows for a more versatile and better match.
