Background:
You are a young trainer who is leaving your home in TwinLeaf Town to become the greatest Pokemon Trainer. You collect badges and capture pokemon to make your way to the ultimate battle stage of Pokemon, the Elite 4. On your journey, you will also have little sidequests and do battle with Team Galactic, no-gooders who want to use the power of legendary pokemon to rule the world of Pokemon.

Pokemon Platinum is set to add and alter to the story found in Diamond and Pearl, such as Giratina now playing a bigger role in proceedings.

Features:

• Wi-Fi: The Global Trading Station (GTS) is upgraded with plenty of new features for a more enjoyable experience online.
  
  
• New Pokemon Forms: Some Pokemon can be transformed into more powerful forms by utilizing certain items. In these new forms, they can learn new attacks, have better stats, and some even get new abilities.
  
  
• Move Tutors: Move Tutors have made their return in Platinum. Each Tutor has a variety of attacks that can be taught to Pokemon for a small fee. Some Pokemon have no other way to learn a certain attack other than from these Tutors.
  
  
• Battle Frontier: The Battle Frontier has also made its return. Featuring 5 different facilities, you must win your way through them to face the leader, called the Frontier Brain, to obtain medals. Battle Points that you win can be used for prizes and other things.
