This game is fairly good, but not amazing. Your character sent 7 letters to the Leader of the Ringtown Rangers, as you had life-long dreams of becoming a Pokemon Ranger. Your feelings towards Pokemon, and how you had to build your body helped to get you accepted. You first have to capture a Minun after Spencer instructs you how. This is the reason you were accepted, as you showed good skills and perseverance. The Minun follows you and Spencer back to Ringtown. Your first Mission was to save Larry's Taillow in the Lyra Forest. You meet Murph and Solana, and they continue to help you on throughout your journey in Fiore. The Minun and yourself grew a strong bond together, and unfortunately Ranger's cannot keep a captured Pokemon. But, they can choose a Partner Pokemon, and your character will accept the Minun.
You have many missions in between the game. You have to escort Professor Hastings to Fall City, in which the Super Styler gets stolen. Stylers are what Rangers use to capture Pokemon, and use their abilities to add them. With the Go-Rock Squad in command of the Super Styler, they have a fairly decent amount of power, using this device against you, as they want to become the true Rangers of Fiore. They will awaken and summon Legendary Pokemon against you, in which you must calm down the savage beasts. There is a fairly decent amount of storyline to the game, and it was very well done.
This game also uses the Pokemon Pearl/ Diamond. You can use it to access a Special Code for a Manaphy Egg, in which you must do a Mission to obtain. You then transfer the Egg to your Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, and when it hatches you get the Exclusing Legendary Manaphy.
There are also multiple codes after the Main Story which you input, and they give you access to multiple missions. These allow you to face Mew, Celebi and Deoxys, and try and become the best Ranger you can be.
The Graphics in this game could have been done betterly. I feel as though Nintendo could have done a better job, but this game doesn't exactly require amazing graphics, as it is fairly laid back and not all that sophisticated. Mostly there are areas to explore, and whenever you get into an encounter with a Pokemon, it shows a small dome like shape on your bottom screen. You then circle the needed amount of loops needed to capture it, and you continue on with your journey.
This game is only rated a 3.5, as the storyline doesn't take too long to complete, and it requires plenty of patience, however. If you are to buy this game, you'll pick it up and get right into it. I like it as I don't need to remember where I left off, I just continue with what I was doing and figure it out as I go.
