THE GOOD:
Very colorful, animated graphics bring this new Bomberman come to life you your Gameboy Advance. Addictive, fun and playable single and multiplayer games. Many power ups, and many diffrent modes to choose from. Most of all the levels are diffrent. Simple controls.

THE BAD:
The sound might get a bit annoying. And so would the music.

SUMMARY:
If you're a Bomberman fan (Like me) you'd enjoy this game very much. But if you're not, it really doesn't matter cause you'd still enjoy this game! The simple controls make you feel right at home, so it's easy to play. And with many diffrent game modes, and options to choose from, this game blows the other games. Not only does it have Quest Mode, but it also has Battle Mode. So it's kind of like two games in one. This is a buyer! Get a couple of friends, join links, and play away!

THE GOOD:
-Multiplayer option, single-pak or multi-pak.
-Interesting RPG option.
-Good graphics.

THE BAD:
-Parts of RPG just feel like they wanted to make another Pokémon-clone.
-Doesn't really hold up over time.

SUMMARY:
Bomberman has always been fun. There's no denying it. It's totally worth buying this game just for the multi-player option.

That being said, Bomberman Tournament is a fairly flawed game. It mostly has to do with the RPG. It's fun, it's entertaining, beating it is satisfying. . . but while your playing it, you just keep getting this feeling that it was just an excuse to get people to buy it. You can see that not a whole lot of effort was spent on creativity, and the added aspect of collecting various monsters to help you on your way, (which you can battle for money,) just adds to the unoriginality to it. The story line is fairly forgetful, and once you've beaten it, chances are, you're not going to go...

THE GOOD:
Graphics were nice.
Audio was good, for a GameBoy.
Gameplay was very good.

THE BAD:
The Game dragged on a tiny bit at the end.
Low replayability factor.

SUMMARY:
I have always loved the Bomberman series so I was happy to hear of this game, I got it on the day of release (US: I was visiting at the time) and I never regreted it.

The Carabons were a nice touch, but the cute little things reminded me of Pokémon a bit too much. I liked how you could build them up and battle with them too... Although that in itself was also a bit too much like Pokémon.

The graphics of the game were very nice, but still the same scale and basics as all the other Bomberman games. It is better that way though I guess because I'd be complaining even more if they changed from the classic style.

The replayability was disapointing. Because the game dragged on a tiny bit during the last few chapters I wasn't...

THE GOOD:
Amzing multiplayer, only one catridge needed, cool sound, easy to control.

THE BAD:
Pretty rubbish single-player, you have to wait at least a minute before starting any game due the the fact that the developers advertise, when you turn it on and you can't get out of it.

SUMMARY:
An important lesson here for all Game Boy games... Please do not attemp to copy Zelda or Pokemon if your making a birds eye view adventure game! Its annoying but it must be said, both of those games (Zelda: Links awakening and Pokemon red) really were brilliant but bomberman tries to copy both and game clones are never as good as the real thing. Its sad, but the single player on bomberman is a bloody disapointment.

But the multiplayert is different. Oh yes, I am pleased to say that the multiplayer is simple but amazing. Its challenging but its brilliantly satisfying when you hem somebody into a gap in the wall with a bomb so they cant get out and...

THE GOOD:
4 players on one cartridge.

THE BAD:
Takes a long time to load multiplayer battle mode.
The standard battle mode level doesn't include kick or throw prizes for some reason!! Huh?! No other bomberman game I've heard of JUST has bombs, skates, and flames on any level!
Can't pause or quit when playing battle mode besides turning off the game boy which then takes a while to start up because of the splash screen.

SUMMARY:
Really frustrating to play this version of bomberman if you're used to SB2 for SNES. To get the kick and throw in battle mode you have to play one of the weird levels, not the basic one. Also, you can't get rid of the poison by picking up a prize.. only by touching another bomberman.

On the other hand, game boy advance bomberman you can play four players with on the same cartridge still rocks in theory. Maybe I'll get used to the restrictions.

THE GOOD:
This game is fun and challenging.

THE BAD:
It gets too hard at times. I don't like the music very much, and the graphics aren't that great.

SUMMARY:
I'm not sure what to say about this. It got pretty hard near the end, which really annoys me. It was pretty fun, though, earlier. I like blowing up things, but I miss Super Bomberman 2. It doesn't seem like there's many good Bomberman games anymore. I don't really like the music or the graphics that much. I don't like Karabombs, either. They remind me of Pokemon too much. This game takes a while to beat, so I guess that's something good about it. The enemies annoyed me. It's really annoying how you have to keep switching Karabomb things to get through areas. I like it better when you just blow up everything, and you're done. This game makes me think too much, and it makes me mad.
