THE GOOD:
By far the best First-Person shooter on the GBA. Great multiplayer and a classic remake.

THE BAD:
Allthough by far the better game, it wasn't as challenging as backtrack, and there are far less weapons and no bot-based deathmatches.

SUMMARY:
That said, however. This game is utterly fantastic. It is a remake of the original pc Doom - thought of as the greatest First-Person shooter of all time. The game was made by legendary developers ID, who, apart from making Doom, also made the first ever FPS (first-person shooter) - Wolfenstein 3D, Quake (the first FPS to incorporate full 3d entities), Quake II (thought of as the world's greatest game at the time), Quake III (A hugely popular multiplayer FPS to rival Unreal Tournement), and, as well as loads of Doom spin-offs, the allmighty Return to Castle Wolfenstein. ID have never failed in any of their games.

And Doom has survived the PC/GBA journey very well. The gameplay's as...

THE GOOD:
Great graphics, its amazing how well they converted a pc game to the gba and it looks so good, quite a lot of levels, fun addictive gameplay

THE BAD:
It does get a bit repititive, not that much variety in weapons

SUMMARY:
Well the company who brought us the original doom games quake and return to castle wolvenstein have done it again with doom for the GBA, which is another highly enjoyable FPS.

The graphics look great and they done an amazing job posting this over to the gba. It plays far better than I'd imagined it would.

I have played a few of the FPS games for the gba and this is by far the best. It is addictive, fun and has a lot of levels

If you own a GBA and enjoy first person shooters this is the game for you.

THE GOOD:
: Great sound, great weapons, cool monsters, NICE and long. Personnalyi REALY like it.

THE BAD:
Too dark, repeptative, no storyline and the aiming is usuall a little off.

SUMMARY:

"If it bleeds we can kill it"
"The reveiw will now begin, please enjoy". I'm a bit of a Solid Gear fan lol. This game is basically the same as the Doom game on PC! Thats right! Your very own copy of Doom on GBA! Doom pretty much uses the same game engines as Wolfenstein and Dark Arena on GBA. In Doom there really isn't much of a focus on the story line and there are no mission objectives apart from colllecting the Red, Yellow and Blue keys so you pretty much search every nook and cranny to find the keys so you can progress through the next level. Activision have done a great job converting this gem from the PC and trust me on this , If you are looking for a good FPS on GBA you will NOT be dissapointed, read on.

THE GOOD:
It's a classic game!
Graphics
Game play
Still awesome
Music

THE BAD:
A Tad repeatative
Can get boring

SUMMARY:
This scraped a 4.
It's a good game depending on if you like the classic doom games and from the sequel looks set to be alot better than this, the monsters still hide with the classic breathing noises keeping you on the edge of your seat, theres a wide array of weapons to chose from making this game really good.
