THE GOOD: Quite sumply the greatest stratergy game on the GBA, beutiful battle sequences and enough modes to last for weeks
THE BAD: A few more units would be nice, there should be a heavy tank, as you can hardly call the game's most powerful land vehicle the medium tank can you?
SUMMARY: Getting straight to the point, this game is one of those all-time classics that never get boring. Not like Doom, a good game that gets boring after a few weeks, not like backtrtack, a game that gets boring after a few seconds, and not like harry potter, a game that just isn't any fun. No. This game is the most complete game the GBA has yet offered. Let me give you a list.
On one catridge, there is:
Over 100 different maps, some that are 2 players, some 3, some 4.
A long campaign that has different missions depending on how you do it.
overall, there are 11 different CO's (commanding officers) to use, each with...
THE GOOD: It has great gameplay, great plot and everything
THE BAD: The music can become repetitave and the computer makes sometimes stupid moves. Sometimes...too many people get stuck on The Final Battle. For the first time you scream at the ammount the enemy has, but it isnt as hard unless you give up.
SUMMARY: This is one amazing game! It has great everything...except for the music. The music can be cool but it can get very repetitave and slowly becomes annoying, but that doesn't take away the fun gameplay! Everything is explained in detail and the missions are exciting. If your looking for a challenge, try the Advanced Campaign to give your head a spin. If you wanna know how good you did on a mission, you have ranks and can see where you could improve. This game has endless play with the design maps mode...although if you could pick the size that'd make the game PERFECT!!! I suggest you get this game!
How many War-time Strategy games have you found on a handheld console? How many are there that let you lead an army of hundreds of units against mutiple enemies, earn coins to "buy" maps and new generals, link up with up to four friends to trade maps or battle each other with anything from one to four game packs. Even if your friends don't have a Gameboy Advance, they can play by passing your's around and each take their turns respectively. It's easy to learn, yet hard and challanging once you start. And if that isn't enough, you can embark on the campaign mode, in which you recieve medals and promotions, and follow the storyline. Then, after you beat 14 training missions, and 22 campaign missions, you can play the advance campaign in a whole new level of visciousness that will be almost impossible to beat. As if that isn't enough, you can even design your own battlegrounds! Now, with hundreds of levels, can you see why this game is so addictive. Music does get a little...
THE GOOD: The Good? Graphics, controls, sounds, gameplay, lifespan, value-for-money... (you name it! it has it in abundance!
THE BAD: Ha ha very funny, wiseguy.
SUMMARY: There is several game modes you can play, the best in my opinion being campaign mode. You control Orange Star, one of four (or should that be five?) armies in the world. Olaf, the Blue Moon commander, has just attacked your prized territory. What do you do? ATTACK HIM BACK!! Use swift aeroplanes and stealthy ships plus awesome ground units to rip your enemy into very small bits!! Also, as the story unfolds, three new armies are willing to fight you. What do you do? BLOW THEM TO SMITHEREENS!
THE GOOD: Just about everything, the graphics, sound, units, charachters, everything, you will be playing this game for hours at a time, might as well buy a whole factory of batteries because your gonna need them. When you get started, you wont want to go to bed, might as well tell your teacher your going to flunk, because you wont get any sleep. A perfect game, if you like chess, you will like chess, but if you dont like chess, still get it, becasue it isnt just like chess, its big time WAR!
THE BAD: Nothing, if you can spare alot of sleep, F's in class for lack of sleep, 40 dollers, money on batteries, then get it. But this game will take you a while, not terribly long, but long enough to save up money to buy another game, unless you get an allowancce of 40 a week, music could be better, but its ok
SUMMARY: Well, as i said, its a great game and i highly suggest it to anyone who has war on their minds, or just a great game, this is an awesome...
SUMMARY: It is a good game for Gameboy! It's the best strategy game! it also has one of the best graphics up with Goldensun. It is challenging and fun! Quote:"It's like playing chess on a battlefield; one wrong move can spell the end"- Very True, The units are basically realistic, actully the whole game is except some of the cool special moves! And that not all the people are the same they have different capabilities is awesome!
THE GOOD: Let's try to get everything, graphics, gameplay, replay value, multi-player, varity, challenge and every other thing that can be good in a game.
THE BAD: Music can get pretty bad at times. Story is repetitive expect for a nice twist at the end.
SUMMARY: Simply amazing. This game has everything a strategy game should have. Wepons galore, immence maps, different playable charactors, and a little dash of pure addictive fun.
The learning curve is kinds steep, and would have been the games downfall if not for the extensivew training mode. Advance Campaing is damn near impossible. You'll wonder how they fit this game in a 1 by 2 inch cartrage.
THE GOOD: The graphics, the co's, you can buy people.
THE BAD: Not to hard, few co's, long in play game
SUMMARY: Wow! This game is on my top 5 list of games to recomend^_^. If you like strategy games this is the game for you. If you have ever played C&C you will like this because it is pretty much the same thing, but you dont all go at the same time you take turns moving and attacking.
You get co's in the game and they all have there own special powers to help you on your way throug the game. You only have 3 co's in the regular game, but once you beat the game you can go and but co's, and that brings up another point you can also build and buy levels. When you beat a level you get coins when you get a few you can buy levels.
This game has music that can get anoying, but turn the volume off and you have a really good game.
THE GOOD: -Requires lots of strategy -Fun -CO(commanding officer) powers give a unique twist on strategy games -Great graphics and music -Many different types of music -Map design mode -Long Campaign mode with two difficulties -Hundreds of vs. maps -Up to four players
THE BAD: -The game boy screen is too small -Complicated tactics are required to even stand a chance in campaign
SUMMARY: This is one of the best games for game boy advance. It's fun, has good music, great graphics and huge replay value. You can play 4 player multiplayer on one GBA or connect 4 so they can't cheat in Fog of War mode. There is also a shop so you can buy more maps and commanding officers. Buy this NOW!
SUMMARY: I love this game! I can play it 24 hours a day. My favorite player is Kanbei or possibly Max or Andy. I will buy this game(if I didn't already have it) for $1000! I recommand players who like to strategy games that are VERY fun to buy this game!!!!! It is very high tech and quite hard. I have beaten every single thing except the last War Room Mission. That doesn't mean you can quit. You can always get better grades from D to C to B to A to S which is the best. I have gotten 7 S's and there are still about 100 more for very player in every mission. And also, you can also get better scores in War Room missions and Higher Ranks. But if you had just started the game, you will have to go through field training which isn't as fun, but if you ask me, it's like heaven!
