THE GOOD: Amazing storyline A multitude of characters Numerous attacks Many puzzling riddles and mazes Catchy music
THE BAD: Low replay value right after finishing.
SUMMARY: As the second game in the series, Golden Sun: The Lost Age carries on the story from where it left off in Golden Sun. You play as Felix, a man struggling to come to grips with what is right, and what is wrong for the world. You must make your way to both the Jupiter and Mars Lighthouses, and ignite the beacons to restore balance to the world of Weyard, but at the same time releasing the danger of alchemy upon the world. Solve puzzles, defeat monsters, and save the day as you travel on the mission to unlock the Golden Sun.
Golden Sun: The Lost Age has many good aspects, which make it an awesome game. Firstly, there are numerous characters throughout the game, that you can meet with and talk to. There are also several different continents, each...
THE GOOD: - Battle System - Storyline - Graphics - Chracters - Game lenght
THE BAD: Sometimes it gets really really hard and confusing, the main character was 'mute', and the ending literally sucked.
SUMMARY: In The Lost Age, you play as a character named Felix, and it basically has the same plot and storyline as Golden Sun did. The graphics are really well put together, and when you get to do certain summon attacks with your characters, it isnt really choppy or anything, which shows off the games true beauty. The characters are entertaining and fun to play with seeing as how they all have unique, and nice moves and they are nice to get hooked to.
Other than that, the enemies are fun to fight because there is just such a wide variety of enemies wherever you go, just like a traditional RPG game. Besides all those good things, when you finally beat the game, you feel like you've just wasted 30 or so hours of your life. Thats...
THE GOOD: It has a really good plot. It also makes you never want to put it down which is great for a good gamer. I also thought the graphics were good for gba. I thought it was cool that it left off right from the first one, so if you played the first one all the way through you could start playing pretty much where you left off. I think it was a good idea to add the INSERT CLEAR DATA which made the first team of player's in the first one to have there stats and stuff for part two.
THE BAD: I thought they could have made world in which you traveled on look better. It also could have had some better bad guys.
SUMMARY: Overall I think this is a good game for BIG rpg fans. It's a GREAT portible game for if you are traveling. You can't get tired of it, I mean I could barley put it down and at least an hour later I had to pick it up! If you know your game's and your NOT one of those DUMB gamers (come on all of you guy's know what I mean) you...
THE GOOD: Golden Sun: the Lost Age, Camelot's brilliant sequel to the GBA game, Golden Sun, is by far the greatest RPG on the GBA of the time. Everything about it is great with an exception to the ending, which is a letdown. You also get to play as eight characters instead of four(eventually). Isaac speaks in this game!
THE BAD: As stated above, the ending to TLA was one thing I found to be remotely bad. Another thing I thought was a letdown was the fact that Felix has contracted Isaac's mute disease. The replay value is also rather poor, but none the less, you may very well find yourself playing the game again and again.
SUMMARY: In TLA, the player gets to play as Felix, Jenna, Sheba, and another, mysterious Water Adept from the lost continent of Lemuria, Piers (or Picard).
The Graphics: The graphics are some of the best graphics the GBA can offer. Everything about the graphics are awe-inspiring. The graphics will draw the player...
I, like any other rpg guru can appreciate a well made and thoughtful game. Camelot has undoubtedly undone themselves once again. This game is amazing plain and simple!
Graphics 10/10 The graphics is where this game shines! It is nothing short of the best on the gameboy advance. The character sprites are very interactive, using a wide range of emotions and gestures making the game quite enjoyable. The bosses look great and so does the world map. The weapons, like the previous games are very nicely design and so are the summons which explode with colour and life. The new unleashes look great and have sweet names like Stone Justice!
Story: 10/10 The story, the backbone of any good rpg is solid. It opens and expands well on the events that took place in the the previous book; Golden sun. The story in The Lost age takes place shortly after the events in Golden Sun. The main characters from the previous golden sun are gone and new heroes are available. The...
Explore cool new worlds by travelling through Weyard.
Now Felix's the gang leader, and you will be able to fight using him, Jenna, Sheba and Piers.
Tons of cool sidequests .
Gameplay over 40 hours.
Meet Isaac and the gang at Jupiter Light House and be ready to use them as new team members.
Great story line with some cool twists near the end.
New summons and bigger dungeons.
Lots of new Djinn to get.
Transfering your old data from Golden Sun to this game, via Link Cable or password.
Cool graphics.
THE BAD:
Nothing.
SUMMARY: Golden Sun: The Lost Age is a wonderful RPG, and the sequel to Golden Sun. There's hardly anything bad about this game. If you bought Golden Sun and liked it, this game is a must. You will soon get...
THE GOOD: A very intense, deep RPG- for the GBA! Excels at pretty much everything. The music, graphics, gameplay, everything is excellent.
THE BAD: My fingers hurt after playing for a while, and there are a few confusing objectives.
SUMMARY: Think of it as... Final Fantasy for the GBA. Even if you don't like Final Fantasy, you're bound to like this over-the-top second installment in the Golden Sun series. It's deep and very involving, and the story is easy to get into, even if this is your first Golden Sun adventure. I found this game to be perfect by all means, and my only complaints are that after playing it for a while, my fingers hurt...my wrists hurt...my right hand seemed broken. But if you can overlook this, and solve all the tricky puzzles, Golden Sun is a challenging, fun game, even for you non-RPGers. It's absolutely brilliant in all ways possible. So what I must say to you is to get yourself this game if you haven't already done...
THE GOOD: Presentation is excellent Djinni system Exploration Puzzles Story
THE BAD: Outside world still slightly confusing Lack of PP replenishing items Need the original game for everything
SUMMARY: The first Golden Sun game set new standards in the RPG genre when it hit the Gameboy Advance, and established itself as one of the system's best games. Such a feat is hard to follow up on, but Camelot has nevertheless given it try by producing the sequel The Lost Age.
Visuals
Hardware is no obstacle to Camelot, and they have gone on to prove it yet again this time. Travelling around once again adopts a top-down perspective, but despite this there is a high amount of detail in the environment you're exploring. Shading is applied well to give off a level of depth, to avoid the looks feeling flat. Colour is just as important as usual, helping to put together locations that look...
THE GOOD: Oh, my gosh,.. The fantastic Graphics, the gameplay is awesome, I love the battle system,... and the little cute four elemental djinns that you collect and Summoning them at your will.. AWESOME
THE BAD: .. Puzzles? Sometimes you dont know where you're suppose to go.. Lots of wondering around.
SUMMARY: Ok, first of all. This game, uses the every ounce of GBA's power to amaze us with its fantastic graphics and amazing story lines. Once you're playing the game, You're gonna be like "Whoa, you sure this is a GBA game? " I dont think I've ever seen a GBA game this fantastic. Most of them dont, or cant even use GBA's true ability. Golden Sun: The Lost Age brought out GBA's hidden beauty.
I LOVE EVERYTHING!!! I love how they can summon stuff, and I love how they are related the Norse...
THE GOOD: -Pretty much everything -More Dijinn!!! -A way to transfer your old GS 1 data over, either via link cable (this requires 2 GBA's) or via a password system (this is obnoxiously long, up to 6 pages worth of typing!)
THE BAD: -Some bosses are a tad too tough -Takes a while to find each and every dijinn and summoning tablet -Some cutscenes are way too long -Can be confusing for 1st time players
SUMMARY: When I beat the first Golden Sun, I got a sneaking suspision that a 2nd Golden Sun was going to arrive. Why is it that all the really good games seem to come out in April? (i.e. Halo 2 is due out April 2) O well
Golden Sun: The Lost Age picks up just before Issac and his crew beat Saturos and Menardi, the main villans of the first game. You take on the role as Jenna, Felix's younger sister, but thats only for a litte while, then you get all the good characters, like Felix.
