THE GOOD: Wonderful character art and super-cute "idle" animations (when the user isn't playing) like Sia getting a cell phone call. Big worlds, with several choices instead of just one level after the other.
THE BAD: Music isn't that great, and it's sometimes hard to se to the sides.
SUMMARY: Wow, this is a great game! The anime-type graphics remind me of BSSM: Another Story for Sega, except a lot better. Anyway, Sia is a warrior princess who must defend her kingdom(gee, where have I heard that before?). Her weapons are ok, she can slash with a sword or fire energy balls, and they get better as the game progresses. The best part by far though is the elemental magic she uses and her ability to turn into a raging Sasquatch. This game is HIGHLY addictive!
THE GOOD: Fluid and appealing cell shaded graphics. Standard yet enjoyable storyline, excellent control and gameplay.
THE BAD: Savepoints can take some time to get to requiring more than just a few moments to play.
SUMMARY: Who knew this sleeper would be so fantastic? It's come in under my radar that's for sure and I must say that I've been very impressed with the game. This platformer has all the right combinations to be engageing and enjoyable.
The graphics are smooth and delightful. The artwork is first rate with castle towers and bridges providing an excellent backdrop to the first level. The use of parallax scrolling enhances the presentation by giving you a real sense of climbing high into the air (a pretty impressive feat on a 2D sprite based handheld).
Storyline on this one is fun and entertaining. It's not going to be anything you haven't seen before, but it's creative enough to keep your interest and deffinately worth a play.
Enemies are entertaining and the challenge so far (haven't finished the game) has been easy-moderate. This is deffinately one to look out for. My guess is if you play it you'll want it. Unless you hate platforms, but that's another issue.
