Starting in daily ranch life, not much happens. Monthly, you will get the chance to feed your monsters, which you should do, as otherwise they will become rebellious with stress. Then your wierd, up-the-wall ranch assistant Aroma, will report any upcoming tournaments, and how tired your monster is, and if it's stressed, and of course, training to boost stats.
You may get some cutscenes, but they can honestly freak you out. Some give you items and others leave you staring at the screen stunned from how odd the cutscene dialog is. Also strays may come to attack you and your active monster, but hey, get this: If your monster is ahead in ANY way, the computer will cut your perimeters BELOW that of your enemy. sometimes over 1/2 the previous value. One time, I had a Golem that was 400 points ahead in 3 classes, and it cut his perimeters by 530 points! So it dosen't just cut it to a fair point, they cut it so it's fair to the computer. Next is the whole system of combat which is...
monster rancher is sort of a mixed package, and therefore a little hard to review...
so here goes: your a top ranked monster rancher. the monster training society "AGIMA" has summoned you for an important job. a failing monster ranch is slowly falling into dismay. the owners need your help! and you gladly oblige. first things first, you must get yourself a monster (there are plenty). to get one, you must go to the monster shrine, and revive one by typing in letters or words on a tablet. depending on what you type, you'll get a monster of some sort. now the fun begins.... at first, your monster is fairly weak. there are several areas of stats, including strength, intelligence, speed, accuracy, defense, etc. to boost these stats, you must train your monster. several other monsters are used as "coaches" for your monster, which will boost some areas of your monster's stats. now what do you do with these stats?...
THE GOOD:
It really kicks ass in everyway almost. Cool breeding and mixing expands this games fun. Many different monsters to raise adds to the piling up addictive hours of this game. I reccomend this game to all!!! It is fun for everyone. Im not saying a 3-year old or a six year tot should go and buy it.... but it is fun for about ages 8 and up. THE BAD: SUMMARY:

Amazing graphics, Tons of cool monsters, And they never die. (Thet can no longer battle after a certan age though) After a while they can become training choaches and when they do watch your stats go up dramaticley! Side dialog will crack u up. Be care full to read every thing your friends say. I about wet my self with one little tid bit. Plus since you can't use cs for monsters you use words. (Ever wonder what you would look like as a monster? Well lust punch in your name and see!) SUMMARY:

Dis game has lots of monsters, all of which are unique. The variety of the game makes it interesting to play. All in all, i would give it about a four.
