SUMMARY:
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team can be played on the Game Boy Advanced Console only, and is not like the regular Pokemon games, eg. Pearl, Ruby, Fire Red. In the game, you control a Pokemon, and you wake up with no memory, in a world of Pokemon, with no humans in sight. You remember that you were a human, but nothing else. Then you meet your friend, who you get to choose. After this moment the two of you and others you meet along the way, form a rescue team, and it is your job to save Pokemon trapped in dungeons, or do jobs for them. You make enemies along the way, and begin to find out why you are in this world. Red Rescue Team is a good game for an age group of around 5-30 because it has got a lot to do, and can be completed 100% without using a link cable or the help of friends. All the Pokemon from the first three regions are obtainable, including the Legends. You build up your rescue team rank, and buy things with money you find in dungeons along the way, to proceed through the game. In the Dungeons, you find items, traps and other Pokemon, with a few other rare events like a shop. The dungeons are turn based, so that when you move one step, all the other Pokemon in the dungeon move one step, the same thing goes if you attack, or use a special move. The storyline will make you laugh and cry at times, and at the end you will be sad that it is over, but not to worry, you then earn the ability to evolve your Pokemon, and access new areas. Although you do not get to battle your friends, you can rescue them using special codes, and they also can rescue you. This is a fun new way to interact with others in Pokemon games. Most things about this game are good, but there are a few negatives. After a while, going through dungeons will get boring, as you are repeating the same process many times. After a few days or weeks break, you should be able to come back to the game refreshed and ready for some more. Another negative is that these days there are code generators online that can be used to cheat, this ruins the fun when you see others 100% complete, when you have been working so hard, but you don't need to prove anything, this game is for personal enjoyment. Trading Pokemon would have been a great feature to add to this game, but it sadly wasn't, but it is not really necessary, as you can get every Pokemon without trading. I would recommend this game to all Pokemon fans, as you will get enjoyment out of it for years, and if you have no friends with the game, you can use codes to interact with people online.
