THE GOOD:
The graphics are beautiful, and have greatly improved from previous Pokemon games. Also, the plot is solid, with the usual Good vs. Evil scenario. The allegory is clearly stated in the schemes of Team Aqua and Team Magma. Also, the new Pokemon are masterpieces, the creativity is superb! This game deserves three thumbs up! THE BAD: SUMMARY:

THE GOOD:
1. The graphics off course! 2. fishing: it's more interactive: you have to HOOK at the right time to catch, instead of waiting 3 seconds 3. the bike: it goes faster, but has acceleration trouble, so is only usefull when driving long ways. 4. off course: the new pokemon 5. the hm's have special signs. very usefull for the japanese game  THE BAD: SUMMARY:

Much better graphics. You can really see them with the water reflections, weather changes, and the cleaner look it has to it. MORE POKEMON!! The 2-on-2 battles are a nice addition, it's cool how they incorporated that with one of the Gym's. Much more places to visit this time around. The eviroments seem to be much more filled and detailed then in the other games, which had just some grass and trees. The Secret Bases are cool, and how you can visit you friends as well via the Record Corner(2nd floor of every Pokemon center too the far right). Lastly the Pokemon contests and whole making berrie blocks, and growing thing is really quite fun, and is a nice break from just battling all the time. THE BAD:

Right off the bat, the graphics are great and the music is really good! There's tons of new Pokemon that look better and there's more DARK-TYPE POKEMON! Ain't that cool? Even though you might think that the dark-types are just some baddies, Mightyena and Poochyena are cute in a way. THE BAD: SUMMARY:

This is the new gaming era for Pokemon, an impresive improvement in all of the Pokemon world, now you can get little details like wheeling on your bike and having a secret base, this game has past the world of just having a pokemon and going around battling trainers with your agressive pikachu against there weak pokeflu or something, but I give this game a perfect 5, the names may be weird, but the bike and the bases, make this game great, can't get enough of it.. after you beat the game you can still go and train a pokemon or improve your secret base, or just explore the map, can't wait for the others to come out, they'd probably be just as remarkable. Definitly a buyed for Pokefans everywhere, and if you don't get it, you're missing out on alot.
