THE GOOD: It's alot of fun and you can just pointlessly just keep playing it over and over. Multi-player link up is really cool.THE BAD: Hasn't got that many original games as alot or on the Gamecube version. It's way to short and easy. SUMMARY: WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$ is almost exactly like the Gamecube version but still alot of fun. The game is really easy and quite short but it's alot of fun so you can just keep playing to beat your old scores even after you have done it. Multi-player is the best thing about this game with a link up, you can go head to head with a friend and not have to share the same screen. The sounds are really annoying but funnt which is good because it suits the typeof game this is.
Overall i would say that it's a very good game and well worth getting, especially if you need a good laugh. |

THE GOOD: The Grahpics, the end boss fight, and it has some catchy tunes. And it IS hard, I can give it that.THE BAD: The fact that you have literally, three seconds to do a stupid little mini-game involving catching a stick or picking your nose. This game gets boring within the half an hour. Dont pick it up. SUMMARY: Ugh, where do I start here...This game is pretty much a bunch of dumb little three second mini games where you just press the button A. The Graphics are good, the difficulty is a little high, and the tunes can be a bit catchy. Although these postivites stand, you cant rub out the factor that the game itself...Is utter crap. You can also pick it up for the gamecube, thereis no difference what so ever, so if you DO want to get it GBA is what you get it on. But if your not, then good choice, this game is awful. |

THE GOOD: The way the game seems to come at you with every conceivable style of game to have ever existed. mind blowingly addictive. Its origional.THE BAD: not enough options SUMMARY: this game is fun, from the characters to the strangely addictive nose picking mini game. It has variety, good music, good graphics, many mini-mini games, including dr. mario, paper aeroplane etc., humourous characters, like wario and jimmy... it really does have everything, except a distinct lack of options in the options menu, although you can practice the actual mini games on one of these menus, the 2 player mayhem is damn good fun, but a little repetitive. To top it off it has the enemy of the cantancerous f&*k Mario, Wario, in it, what more do you want?
Graphics: 8/10 Music:9/10 Gameplay value:10/10! Re-playability:9.5/10 Insane amount of minigames:11/10 Buy it, NOW!!! |

THE GOOD: extremely awesome minigames tons of minigames tons of charecters once you beat the all the charecters theres still more to do! 5 star grid modeTHE BAD: not enough options in options mode SUMMARY: once you start theres a short intro then boom! a minigame appears and you have to beat it. you have four lives if you lose a minigame you lose a life. more minigames appear. beatem. if you get to a certain number of minigames without losing all four lifes, you face a boss, once you beat the boss it gets harder(i dont know what happens when you beat the boss three times) but it rocks. there are also side games that you get for reaching certain tasks like getting all games in each charecter.the grid mode rocks too.it makes the game worth buying.100% great gae WOULD recomend getting. |

A portable megadose of genre-bending video crack | 4.5 0 comments |

THE GOOD: It's stupidly addictive and funTHE BAD: Only 200 games? I want more! SUMMARY: Put simply, Wario Ware is a collection of minigames. Well, OK, make that microgames. You see, most segments last no more than fifve seconds and require as little as a single timed button-press. And although they make the minichallenges in Mario Party 4 (GC) feel full-fledged, I've grown to love their dose of video Ritalin nonetheless. Because they're thrown at you in rapid succession without explanation or warning, you're forever held in itchy-fingered anticipation, wondering what's next and, more important, what's expected of you. And whether it's a battle with Metroid's Mother Brain, an Old West shootout a la Wild Gunman, or -- I kid you not-- a maiden who needs help nose-sucking a brand of snot, you will be surprised, if not bewildered. Also, should you possibly tire of the 200-plus solo shenanigans, you can always tap the excellent two-player offerings. Played on a single GBA, they're ridiculously simple and equally addictive. A word of warning, though:WW is deeply Japanese. So to appreciate these nostalgic nuggets, you'll first have to cope with culture shock (a soft spot for reflex-testers like Simon or Bot-It won't hurt either). Even after playing for 20 minutes, you still wanna pass WW off as an obstacle course for ADD children. But once you do warm to the idea of hopping a hot dog on wheels that's out to run you over, you'll have also accepted this crack-up accomplishment-- showing that the finest hand-held games aren't always console hits in minuature. |

THE GOOD: Extremely varied and totally unique 200 micro-games Lots of bonus-games Very fun multiplayer Highly addictive The ultimate high-score game
THE BAD: Not for those demanding a game with a real plot. Some mirco-games are essencially the same SUMMARY: Wario Ware is a highly unusual game, as it essecially consists of 200 micro-games and several bonus-games. The micro-games are highly varied, and even though some are copies of each others, the variation in Wario Ware is still extreme. They are sorted by different characters in the game, introduced by a nice cut-scene, each who has a special type of micro-games available. Most of them require quick reflexes, skill and presisiton and lasts only for seconds. An excellent feature is that you get the chance to try getting a high-score on each of the 200 micro-games separatly, making Wario Ware possibly the ultimate high-score game.
In each category of micro-games there is a boss, which is a longer and more advanced micro-game (and it's obviously harder than the standard). Then there are the mini-games you get as a bonus, most of then being a souped-up version of some of the micro-games. They make for a nice change, and are quite a different experience, but even more welcome are the multiplayer-games you can aquire, who works by two people sharing one GBA and are all great fun.
Technically, the game is visuals are quite a mixed bag, featuring all from the most prmitive of 2D graphics to quite some advanced 3D graphics, while the cut-scenes are pretty nice.. Music-wise, there are a huge sellection different tunes, most of them brief, while a few are long and in my opinion quite good.
However, this isn't a game you buy for the graphics and sound, but for its stunning variation, the addictive and unique gameplay. This is really a game that is perfectly suited both for a quick 3-minutes play, and for hours a of high-score chasing. With the high-score possibilities being so enormous, it is bound to last for a long, long time.
Overall, Wario Ware might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I'm still sure that the majority of gamers out there will love this package of micro and mini-games which is proof of the reason why we still love the big N, with its originalty, pleasing weirdness and sheer fun-factor. This is certainly a brilliant game that I recommend all GBA owners to put on their shopping-list. |

THE GOOD: I love most of these 200 some micro games. The graphics are stupendous for the games that are supposed to be special. I am a fan of the old school nintendo clips they through in, except i would like to see more of a challenge.THE BAD: A common flaw is how the games repeat themselves after a while, and the game doesn't even take over 2 hours of sitting down. SUMMARY: Even after beating the game, if you are bored while taking a dump, this game is perfect. If you have nothing to do this summer, get yourself 30 bucks and buy this game. Stay inside you house on a hot summer day and just sit on you bum. You'll like the action fast tests of your reflexes and don't worry if you mess up just once: you'll get the hang of every micro game after about two times playing it. My salute to wario for coming up with a perfect plan to make cash. |
