X-Men: Reign of Apocalypse

THE BAD:
inadequate control, gameplay seems just a bit too tedious with limited moves for each player.
As an avid X-men fan i am truly disappointed!

SUMMARY:
The one added bonus I found with this game was when I used a cheat cartridge(available at about £20/25)
with the cartridge I was able to play as Gambit! - easily the best character in the game as his moves had a bit more pizzaz!!

Summary:
Dont buy this for the gameplay which isnt bad but it aint worth forkin out the Pounds/euros for.
(Check out jackie Chan for an extra dimension in gameplay!)

Do buy this if u really like the x-men and dont give a monkeys about the gameplay.

THE BAD:
Some what frustraiting at parts but hey then it woudnt be fun without a challenge.

SUMMARY:
Graphics are pretty good. Game play aint to bad either. Addictive or maybee thats because I like X-Men.

But All-and-All its a game worth your money and time.

I have already beat it with Wolverine and am this close to beating it with Cyclops. [-]
Again it is defanetly worth your money.

THE BAD:
Somehow doesn't grab me. I used to enjoy games like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the arcade, and it could be that I'm just getting to old and stodgey to enjoy hack and slash.

SUMMARY:
Gameplay, control, graphics and even storyline are pretty good in this one. I have played some of the X-bombs in the past and this one is deffinately worth a look. Unfortunately for me, hopefully not you, I was unable to really get into this game.

It plays almost exactly like the old arcade teenage mutant ninja turtles game used to play. And I can tell you that machine ate a lot of my quarters. However this game hasn't been as enjoyable for me. Perhaps it's the lack of other players to play with on the GBA. NOTE: YOU CAN PLAY STORY MODE WITH 4 PLAYERS.

That has to be one of the coolest things about this game, in fact I was thinking 3.5 for the score but I'm going to bump it up to 4.0 because of that. I bet with a bunch of your pals and a link cable (unforutnately eveyone needs their own copy of the game) that this game would be a blast.

In addition there are other multiplayer modes such as a VS mode where you take your character and fight your friends (sorry this one doesn't have a vs. computer mode it has to be human vs. human).

To answer a questioned posed earlier, you do have the option of choosing your x-man at the beginning from Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm and Rogue. Later on I believe other options will be unlocked.

All in all this is a pretty fun title that because of the reviewers own creeping years problem (old age syndrom) doesn't play like it might have a few moons ago.
