THE GOOD:
Unique IAS Comabt System
Long Lifespan

THE BAD:
Poor visuals
Poor audio
Lacklustre plot delivery
Lacks actual strategy
Defence is way too easy

SUMMARY:
Causing carnage in giant mechs. Doesn’t that sound so wonderful? Why have a sword or a rifle when you can be pounding away with giant metal fists or huge cannons? Zone of the Enders: The Fist of Mars intends to bring this kind of carnage to the humble Gameboy Advance in the form of a SRPG. It should be awesome, and yet…

Visuals

Well, let’s start with how it looks. Unfortunately, things aren’t looking too promising. From the moment the story starts something feels wrong, and it doesn’t take long before it becomes all too apparent - this game has no idea what presentation is.

Conversation scenes are important to delivering the story, but ZOTE’s conversation pieces are so poorly...

THE GOOD:
The whole game is perfect, hard to explain my fealings.

THE BAD:
Nothing bad about the game,it's perfect!

SUMMARY:
This game is one of the best games that I ever played. It has a Gundum wing plot kinda. The story no,but huge robots yes,and destruction to all the people. the game is smart.the plot is smart.Your in space,on a ship, then get atacked by an unknown LEV and then the ship crashes on mars.the cool thing about this game that you spend the whole game on mars,it's a thriving place thats hard to become one from earth, the people that stayed and want to control the Enders, the people were called enders when the went off to mars and juipeter. The game has alot of things to do and look at,no it's not runin every where blowin shit up but it has charaters profiles, and music to unlock, next to that ther is the garrage where you can upgrade your LEV's,increase there attack, armor,or defense, then you can upgrade your wepons and there...

In the future, the earth's resources have deen depleted and man stretchs out to the stars for alternative living quarters.

as time passes, technology advances. man settles in colonies on the moon, mars, and even as far as jupiter territory.

with newer resources, man build the LEVs, giant robots capable of extrodinary abilities.

peace is never eternal. as man's colonies travel further from earth, conflicts are inevitable.

a war breaks out between the earthlings and the martians.

those not born on earth soil are referred to as "enders". thus the zone of the enders, the fist of mars...

your cage, a 17 year old kid that works on a ship that transports immigrants from earth to mars. on a routine trip the ship is attacked by an unidentified LEV. the secret cargo on that ship just happens to be a top secret LEV. with guidance from an advanced computer, cage begins his quest, along with a mysterious girl who cant...

THE GOOD:
Absolutely brilliant storyline, cute characters, er... really nice orchestral music, and cool 3D Mechs...

THE BAD:
Way too easy!

SUMMARY:
I have to say first that this is possibly one of my favourite games of all time, second only to Golden Sun on the GBA. You play Cage Midwell, a young boy who is flung into a conflict to save Mars (Yay! cause we all love Mars...) after the ship he's working on, the Bonaparte, is mysteriously attacked. The game is totally Japanese Anime from the off with plenty of cutesy characters and huuuge mechs called LEVs (Transformers with attitude!)
If you're not into Anime or games with long-winded storylines I'd stay away from this game totally - from the off you're presented with reams of text decorated with Anime-style pictures explaining the storyline before each battle. Personally, I thought this was the best part! I only completed this game this morning and the plot has been on my mind ever since -...

THE GOOD:
Impressive animation and astounding sound effect.

THE BAD:
Not suitable for amateur gamers because of its difficulty.

SUMMARY:
The first time in my life I have ever played such a magnificent game. Great animation, wonderful sound effects, and astounding music makes this game a top notch. The story-line is also wonderful; it is quite difficult to guess the real culprit in the scenario.
