THE GOOD:Characters, monsters, storyline, weapon/armor/item system, vast world
THE BAD:
REALLY hard enemies, not very much feeling
SUMMARY:
Well, I just got this game on Christmas. After playing and beating dragon Warrior 3, I find that Dragon Warrior 1 & 2 just doesn't live up to it. Sure, DW3 was made a few years after so the technology was a bit better, but this game just isn't the best I've played for the GB.
The characters seem very creative and different, but none really seem to have a lot of personalitt and feelings. They all seem like they're mindless robots. The storyline is pretty cool too, seeing that they take elements from the previous games and add them into the next. The world is very large, and it's fun to get on my boat [DW2] and sail around lookng for new things to explore. Also, the purchase system is pretty good; there's so much stuff to buy!
Only one other thing really stands in the way of this game gettign a perfect 5.9: the enemies. I don't mean to complain, but sometimes they seem rediculously hard!!!
All in all, this is just an okay game. Those who like the Dragon Warrior/Dragon Quest series will enjoy this.
