THE GOOD:1. The Complexity of how you must do everything to become a good farmer.
2. It actually is a hard game if you want to become ranch master.
3. WAY better than other GameBoy Games. believe me.
THE BAD:
1. If you hare planning to purchase this game, dont. Purchase Harvest Moon 3 for Gameboy Color.
2. No festivals!
3. Very repetitious.
4. The Villiage is horrible. You cant walk around the only reason you go there is to buy stuff, not socialize.
5. You can NEVER talk to ANYONE. they must go to you. This is VERY rare also (like once a year)
6. The music
SUMMARY:
This is just like any of the other Harvest Moon games. This is one of the first ones, so that is why it is so bad. I would recommend you buying Harvest Moon 3 for Gameboy instead because it has fixed everything wrong with this one. YOu cannot socialize with ANYONE EVER (exept the elves). The only thing I enjoy about this and what has made me fall in love with Harvest Moon games is that it is VERY hard to become ranch master and it is actually more than a farming game, it is challenging! in The recent harvest moon games, you can marry, have festivals and stuff. I didnt know how bad this game was untill I bought harvest moon 64.
