THE GOOD:
The best Pokemon game to date, one hundered new Pokemon, fantastic multiplayer support and in allmost full colour. Great sountrack.

THE BAD:
The box system is a bit rubbish, and constant unwanted encounters in dark caves can get a little bit tedious. No new problems though, just ones brounght over by the red versian.

SUMMARY:
Pokemon Red was groundbreaking. It emerged as one of the most succesful game's ever and started a worldwide franchise - Soft toys, TV program, trading cards. It basically proved that only Nintendo can make the best games.

And after Blue, red and yellow came this. Gold. Pokemon Gold is Nintendo's latest Poke-masterpiece.

It basically improves the old game, the music, sound and visual effects are a lot better, now in colour. here are one hundered more Pokemon to collect (making the total 251). There are also literally hundereds of new attacks to use and the new 'PokeGear'. The Gym leaders are...

THE GOOD:
You go around capturing pokemon, 251 of them, making the game a bit challening and more interesting. Then there's all of that new gear that you get to use, phone, clock... and the 8 more gymleaders which makes it all the harder

THE BAD:
no storyline, no replay value, and repetitive battles

SUMMARY:
You get to use so much new stuff in this game, such as the phone, allowing you to go back for more battles. The clock, set to real time, changes the whole setting, which pokemon appear at night and day.

Replay Value 1/5 - if you didn't capture all of the pokemon first time around, go try it again! if you do catch them all however, not much more to do...

Sound 1/5 - well, this wasn't really a highlight so nothing much to say...

Graphics - 4.5/5 - great graphics, allowing you to see all of the new and old pokemon in great detail. however, the towns also each have their own design even though the grasslands...

THE GOOD:
THE GOOD:
1)Great graphics and sound (for gameboy)
2)Excellent battles
3)Lasts a very long time
4)Real time clock/ time-based events

THE BAD:

THE BAD:
1)Can't get all the pokemon on the one cart without trading(boo)
2)Too many battles in caves

SUMMARY:
SUMMARY:
Pokemon Gold and Silver takes the originals and improves on them. The battles are amazing and this will last you a very long time. Why? Simply trying to raise the best team and trying to find everything. I am still playing it and I've already played it for over 300 hours altogether. This game requires a lot of thought to get things perfect.

This game also has a real-time clock. What this means is that, as long as you set the clock properly, the time in the game will be the same as the time in the real world. Now certain pokemon can only be found at a certain time and special events occur on specific days.

THE GOOD:
It has 250 pokémon to catch and train.
There is a new world: Johto.
Pokémon can "marry" and have "children" in his version.
It has an internal clock, so it knows if you're playing in the morning, day or night.
It knows in what day of the week you're playing.

THE BAD:
Nothing

SUMMARY:
Pokémon Gold & Silver is one of the best RPGs in the history of videogames. It has new technological advaces like an internal clock that works even though you're not playing, or one of my favorites: pokémon are either male or female and they can have baby pokémon.

THE GOOD:
100 new Pokemon to catch, nice graphics, new gadgets, eight more gym leaders

THE BAD:
Too many battles in random areas, gets boring after a while

SUMMARY:
Pokemon Gold (and Silver) introduce new gadgets that you can use. A clock that changes the game's time of day. This makes you play at certain parts of the day to be able to catch the pokemon that appear in the night and day.
A radio is also introduced allowing you to turn it on and decrease or increase the appearance of wild pokemon.

There are 100 new pokemon to catch! Catching the three legendary dogs Entei, Suicine, and Raikou along with Ho-oh, the legendary bird is the ultimate goal in this game.

The graphics are great for the Gameboy Color and show the original worlds, with new additions in more color and detail.

If you're a real Pokemon fan, you'll really enjoy this game. The story's not the best but that's not the point in this game....

THE GOOD:
100 new Pokemon, reasonable graphics, and all new cool Legendary Pokemon

THE BAD:
WAY too easy

SUMMARY:
This game isn't that challenging and fun, but it is also way too easy to beat, but the 251 Pokemon to catch will have you busy for a really long time. I would recommend this game to anybody who likes very very long games.

Overall, this game is very entertaining

THE GOOD:
The Game indeed does get boring, but the Game for a Real Pokemon fan it can become a whole new world of fun. The game is Really cool all New 100 Pokemon, I'll have to add that this is much better then Blue Version,Yellow Version and Red Graphics are Better and a lot of new Stuff such as New Evolutions of Pokemons and a Bigger backpack which is much better for putting Objects and getting things in order.

THE BAD:
The Bad I really don't have any problems just some little things like at the game at the end when you beat it, it gets really boring they could add some Extra Gyms to play in, and the One day Battle is Okay, but it gets boring waiting one whole day to battle again.

SUMMARY:
The Game overall is really good I give it a 4.5 The Graphics are Very Good for Gameboy Color, and there's really no Glitches, which makes the Game Much Better then other Versions. In Blue Version there was a Very Weird Glicht were you can...

THE GOOD:
250 Different kinds of Pokemon to catch
Time ~ Now there is a night and day in game
You now have the option to use a cell/mobile phone
Better Graphics
Very cheap nowadays
Much longer storyline and is has alot more depth to it

THE BAD:
Can get boring once completed
Annoying music(Always kept the sound to minimum)

SUMMARY:
Pokemon Gold and Silver will always be legendary games in the Pokemon series after the massive step from Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow. Now with over 250 different kinds of Pokemon, plus with brand new features like being able to have time in game, and the use of a cell phone so you can ring trainers up that you've already encountered with and battle them again. There is soooo much more to do in this game then there was in Blue and Red and the attention and the detail is there. Plus the graphics have been attended to well and look quite nice considering how the graphics for...
