It has 250 pokémon to catch and train.
There is a new world: Johto.
Pokémon can "marry" and have "children" in his version.
It has an internal clock, so it knows if you're playing in the morning, day or night.
It knows in what day of the week you're playing.

THE BAD:

SUMMARY:
Pokémon Gold & Silver is one of the best RPGs in the history of videogames. It has new technological advaces like an internal clock that works even though you're not playing, or one of my favorites: pokémon are either male or female and they can have baby pokémon.

THE GOOD:

too hard to determine anything bad about this game.

SUMMARY:
THis game is so cool. You get to fight 16 gym leaders and hundreds of other trainers. I became addicted and kept on battling even if it was just wild pokemon. This game is definetly a game to have and i reccommend buying it to everyone that has a chance to own this game.

this game is really advanced compared to pokemon red,blue,and yellow.more attackes have been added as well as more pokemon.the legendary pokemon are back but are dogs.the extended game has two regions yes two.the story goes like this.: you live in the the region of hoenn and your old enough to get your first pokemon.the professer sends you on an erend and on your way back you get your first glimpse of your rival. he has stolen a pokemon from the lab.from there on you control what happens.(of corse you have to play along with the story and the only thing you change is how long the journey lasts what pokemon you get where you go and how many tmes you are defeated.)this game is really good for those who want to have a long good play at a game that suits your stratagies.

I personally think that this game is a quality rpg. Once you get past the fact that most the people who play it are young children, it is still a great rpg for people of any age.. and people who like rpg's.

In this game, you walk through a world of 'pokemon,' creatures that you can train through levels or battle other people with. It is somewhat real because when they get hurt they lose Hit Points (HP). When they lose all their Hit Points (HP), they faint and you need to take them to a "pokemon center" to get healed.

I would reccomend this book to a) people who have a bunch of time, b) people who enjoy RPG's, and c) people who aren't afraid of being called childish due to the factor of people who play this game.

One of the bad things about this game is that when using a gameshark usually everything gets messed up, and you lose all data on your cartridge. I seriously reccomend not gameshark'ing anything on this game, if you have spent much time on it.

I really love this game... I love all the Pokemon RPG games- they're so indepth and brilliant, since they have good lifespan and gameplay. I only have Gold and prefer Silver because the graphics are better on that... Roll on Pokemon Advance!

The only thing I don't like is Whitney. She is such a hard bugger!

Oh yeah, and Kabutops and Alakazam rule. Yeah, they do.

Pokemon Gold and Silver will always be legendary games in the Pokemon series after the massive step from Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow. Now with over 250 different kinds of Pokemon, plus with brand new features like being able to have time in game, and the use of a cell phone so you can ring trainers up that you've already encountered with and battle them again. There is soooo much more to do in this game then there was in Blue and Red and the attention and the detail is there. Pokemon Gold is one of the best Pokemon games because there are a lot of new features. The graphics are very good and now there is more game color. The game is verey addictive because there are a lot of pokemon to capture and to train so they can become the best. Also you can now mate your pokemon so you can get stronger and better pokemon. The only part that sucks in that they took out some of the best pokemon like Mew and Mewtwo. There are a lot of trainers on the road that you can fight and you can also take their phone number so you can fight them again which is a good thing so you can keep on training your pokemon against them. The pokemon game are a phenomena, a set of games which are newer than any other. Pokemon G&S relived that age, with 100 new pokemon and a new island, Johto. I love these games, I really do. They're so reeshing and fun, I could play in all day! Two thumbs way up! Oh damn not this stupid limit thing...why of all the cheap, good for for nothing...oh I think it's enough now. Haha!
