THE GOOD:
Over 40 Capcom & SNK fighters, 9 modes of gameplay, hidden customizable options, hidden fighters and play modes

THE BAD:
Although the controls can be reconfigured, it takes some time to adjust to the GC controller.

SUMMARY:
Although I never played the arcade version (my cheap arcade only got Millenium Fight 2000), I jumped on the opportunity to get this fighter, and it was worth it. The optional GC-ISM fighting style is great for beginners or anyone that wants to pull off an impossible-sounding combo that'll impress your friends, and if you use the standard fighting style, you can pause the game and get a list of every character's special move! The announcer's voice is so-so but not terribly annoying or distracting. The fact that there's 46 total fighters means tons of replay value, and there's lots of customizability, even more hidden if you're really good. Don't write this one off just because of the controller, because you're...

THE GOOD:
Lost of charecters to choose from, a lot of modes!

THE BAD:
Some of the graphics are a bit old school. Nothing real bad.

SUMMARY:
This game is my most favorite Fighting Game since the Street Fighter 2 Series for Super Nintendo, lots of modes, good gameplay, and lots of charecters and different fighting styles! I love this game. If your looking for a fighting game or a great multiplayer game to play with your friends, SNK vs. Capcom 2 is the game for you!

THE GOOD:
Cool special moves and fearsome fighters as well as
a mixture of 2-d and 3-d graphics.

THE BAD:
Several missing characters such as Megaman.

SUMMARY:
The tournament of the new century is blasting off to new hights. Fighters from Street Fighter to Rival Schools. From King of Fighters to Fatal Fury. This game also includes 2 game control settings which you can set the special moves easy or presice. Also, you can set your character's strength with a new free ratio system.

THE GOOD:

The playability is just as good as the old SF2 series and even better!!!

THE BAD:
too few, unrelated and uncolorfull sceneries.
With 44 fighter i was hoping to see at least half of it...

SUMMARY:
I dont care if those review fags think the directional pad is to small, it does the work, and if you dont like the gc-ism (i just hate it) just dont use it.

even the characters that were similar in previous were even more individualised.. good JOB!!!

low point... a kind of history mode would have been wonderful but well, no body is perfect.

THE GOOD:
The game has minimal loading times. Big sprites fer the characters (albeit, not very detailed). contains 44 of Capcom's and SNK's most popular fighters.

THE BAD:
Control needs a little getting used to. The animated sprites look a bit out of place with 3D backgrounds.

SUMMARY:
I admit that I had my doubts about giving Capcom vs. SNK 2: EO a try, since this game received dismal reviews mostly due to the GC controls which aren't designed with 2D fighting games in mind. But I decided to put those fears aside and give this game a try since I'm a huge Capcom and SNK arcade fanatic. The controls did confused me for a minute or two, but I was able to overcome that quite easily since I didn't start to play videogames yesterday. I've been playing them for over 15 years now. So much for that little nuseance. The game itself is a pretty straight forward experience with a basic intro that leads up to the game options screen where you can choose...

Gameplay

It's awesome, the moves are just like the ones in the super nintendo and GBA ones. Although the structure is all over the place.

Sound:

the sounds were awesome, the sound effects of the moves were great, and the background music is better then ever.

Graphics:

this is where the game got ruined, the graphics, the lack of 3D in the characters realy ruined it, they didn't use the gamecube to it's full potential.

Capcom vs. SNK is an awesome game in everyway: the characters (except 2 or 3) are greatly animated, the play is great, and the combos and specials are easy to use and learn (no matter WHAT people are bent on saying, the GC Controller IS good to use - I hadn't touched before except when I played Capcom vs. SNK!) One downside maybe the stage graphics, which could've been better when it comes to color. But other than that, even the soundtrack is great. I recommend this game to anyone who has a Gamecube, Playstation, or both.
