THE GOOD:
Amazing Graphics and Cinematics, Disgusting Soundtrack, Customazation, Wide Variety of Cars, Story Mode, Very Hard

THE BAD:
Repetative at times

SUMMARY:
A seemingly queit highway slept under the night's sky. Suddenly, two crafts, passing by at ludicours speeds, raced across the closed road. One was massive and black, heavy in weight. The other was a purple color, but also heavy. After miles of intence racing, the purple craft, known as the Dark Schnider, had rammed the Black Bull into the wall, sending it flying, exploding as soon as it made contact with the ground again. A man dressed as a black devil crawled out from the wreckage, holding his right arm. As he fell to the ground, a massive robot, controlled by the brain of a human walked up to the racer, grabbing him by the throat. He coughed. "No... please. Just give me... one more chance." The man pleaded. "One more chance is all you get." The robot said in a deep voice. "Win this F-Zero Grand Prix or... you know the price of failure." He dropped the man to the ground as he made his way to the Dark Schnieder. "Yes, I promise. I can win it this time." The other man said. "I swear." The cockpit slowly closed, and the Dark Schnider disappeared into the night's air.

F-Zero GX is a racing game set in the future. The main point of this game is speed; your vehicle can reach speeds over 2,000 KPH, and that's pretty damn fast. But there is violence on the track. Boost, spin, and smash to guarantee your first place finish.

First, the good. This game looks amazing, especially the cinematics. You won't find too many other games that look as good as this. Everything from the sence of speed to the highly detailed backgrounds to the craft paint job to the pilot's costumes. Absoultly amazing. Too bad you're going so fast. You miss alot of the more stunning visuals. And with the great graphics comes the soundtrack. Again, very well done. A mix of metal and techo works surpirzingly well. Each course has its own tune, and so do each character. Each one is top notch. Each song represents a mood of either the characters or course, and it cpatures you. It really puts you in their shoes.

Also, their are over 30 cars you can choice from, each with it's own strength and weakness. Prefer speed over traction? Power over acceleration? Whatever you want, there is a car for you. And if you can't find one, you can always make one. With over 180 unlockable parts, you can make the car of your dreams. Select the parts, the colors, the symbols, and the racer. Each race means something more after this since you're racing your own creation.

Another addition to the F-Zero series is the Story Mode. You play the infamous Captain Falcon, the legendary bounty hunter who claims all races he takes part of. Each race is diffrent; one might have you dodgeing falling rocks, and the other might want you to destroy a certain ammount of crafts, while another could want you to not go under a certain speed. And surpirzingly, this is no pushover game. In fact, G4 voted it one of the Top 10 hardest games of all time. But unlocking another chapter in story mode or another character is a very good feeling, especially since it took so much to unlcok them.

All in all, this game is very close to perfection. The only problem I had with it is that after everything is unlocked (which is near impossible), the game gets old and repetative. But everything else is very top notch. A very good game. Get it. Now.

THE GOOD:
Customize your car
Story Mode
Lots of stages
Unlock many things

THE BAD:
Gets kinda boring after a while

SUMMARY:
F-zero GX is a very fun game in my opinion. Altough it gets a bit boring, that doesnt make it a bad game. There are many characters (you start off with 4), you can buy new ones. There are also alot of stages to choose from. Each car has their own advantages and disadvantages so you can have varaties and find the car that suits you the best. But in order to buy things you must get 'tickets.' The more you have the better, you get them by playing story mode. Story mode is hard but after a few tries you'll beat it. You use Capt Falcon for story mode and you must complete mission. Like get all the capsules and go to the finish in 60 seconds. You can also customize your own car!!1 Therefore this game is really fun and I suggest you buy it, its a great 2 player game.

THE GOOD:
Lots of cars to choose from.

Lots of unlockables

Good replay value

Cool looking levels

THE BAD:
Since you go so fast it can be hard to avoid walls at times.

SUMMARY:
Difficulty: Medium

I rented this game about two month ago and I can't belive I haven't written a review for it yet. Well this game takes the previous F-Zeros which were already good and makes it even better. I knew I would like this game. From start you only have a few cars and the rest you have to unlock. That's what makes this game have good replay value. Cool isn't it?

This game shouldn't dissapoint people who liked the previous F-Zero game. If you get a chance please go and try this game out or even buy it. I need to buy this game myself sometime.

I rate this game a 4.5/5 (9/10)

THE GOOD:
Presentation
Numnber and design of tracks
Story mode
Number of pilots in any one race
Race at really high speed

THE BAD:
Multiplayer a tad disappointing
Attack moves rather useless

SUMMARY:
F Zero GX is the Gamecube's installment of the futuristic racing game from Nintendo's camp. The only difference is that this has been developed by Sega. Can they do the job? Short answer yes. Long answer, read on.

Graphically the game is amazing. Each vehicle has been well designed and the tracks are amazing. Not that you'll notice much tearing along at about 1000 kph. The music and sounds are fantastic too, really fitting in with the game's atmosphere.

The gameplay itself is also brilliant. You really get a true sensation of speed as you tear along the 20+ tracks in your hover racing machine. Reacting within split-seconds is so great.

The Story Mode is a great addition to the series. Each race has a certain objective or condition, and it reveals parts of the background story not revealed before.

The multiplayer is a bit of a letdown. The small windows make it difficult to see everything, especially when flying at high speed. Also, the fact that there can only ever be four machines on the track at once is a real shame.

Also the attack moves look nice, but they only slow you down. I find it better to concentrate more on actually racing rather than hitting your opponents.

Overall, an awesome game that should really be in your collection.

THE GOOD:
You get to race cool looking cars at a high speed.
The controls are nice and simple.

THE BAD:
It sucks when you are winning the entire race and them mess up on the last lap.

SUMMARY:
F-Zero GX is a really great game, one of the best on the Gamecube. You get to race in one of many cars at high speeds in future tracks. Multi-player is very fun especcialy if you have four players. The music is brilliant on this game and never gets repetetive or boring so are the SFX. You can create your own car and load your F-Zero GX data in a F-Zero AX arcade machine to unlock new things. The controls are really nice and easy so all ages can play but the races can get pretty hard. The style of racing is really cool and pretty unique.

Overall i would rate this game about 92% because i love it.

THE GOOD:
NOTHING AT ALL!!!! I would say you get to drive at 2000mph, but, sadly, it's imposibble to reach that spedd...darn game....

THE BAD:
EVERYTHING OF ALL!!!!

SUMMARY:
First of all, we all (or shood) know that inside the instruction booklet, or the back cover, it says "ride at 200 mph!". Tch, yeah right! No matter how hard I tried, I could never reach 2000mph! It's just a lie. So, stop trying... Another bad thing is that when I started the first "episode" of story mode, it so friggin' hard! I mean, I cacth up, then he just speeds away! And am I the only one who can figure out how to save story mode? I come to play it the next time, and it says I'm still on the first "episode". And besides, the game is just plain stupid=/

(P.S. I would've game the game a sore of 0.0 but it wouldn't let me...)

There is also a story mode which is 9 chapters long it sounds not much but it takes a while.
There is also a grand prix mode.
And you can even save replays.
And it has realy good graphics.

THE BAD:
It can be hard at times
And can sometimes get boring if you play it to long.
Also takes a while to get the hang of

SUMMARY:
This sums up to be a realy good raceing game

It can take a while to get the hang of though.

THE GOOD:
Tons of cars/ characters
Awsome courses
Nice graphics
Going off a jump at 1200 miles an hour
sound/music
effects

THE BAD:
I WANT MORE COURSES

SUMMARY:
This is one of the best racing games in stores. In this game you select a character with a car that goes with him, and you choose if you wanna go speedy fast or slower but better to control. Then you start the race with the other 29 people racers (booya), then you start off with 500 miles an hours, 2 seconds latter you bild up speed to a thousand, then normally you hit a speed boost and go flying up to 1300 milles per hour, zipping right past all 29 other racers. This game will make you forget about reality!

Theres also a story mode, first level you are captain falcon, you must collect all the tokens on the course at lightning speed. I dont wanna spoil the rest for ya though.

GC  F-Zero GX 5.0

THE GOOD:
Lots of Cars, unlockables, and its fast.

THE BAD:
Difficulty here set too high for average gamers.

SUMMARY:
This game is F-Zero GX. The latest game from the developers for the F-Zero series. Previously played from the SNES, GBA, and N64 now has been released (for quite a while) for the GCN. This game is based on Futuristic racing. Hover cars flying on Hover tracks trying to bash the crap out of the other cars. When you start you get to start out with four basic characters.

Anyway this game has a new Story mode with spendid graphics. All of them with a nice beginning and ending movie. Some challenges may be difficult at first but can be overcomed. There are however a Hard and Very Hard difficulty after you have beat Normal and Hard (if you want Very Hard) and there are prizes and tickets for you. The box says 30 characters and 20 tracks but there are actually a total of 41 characters and 26 tracks. And if you have this game and love the movies, there is a Master mode once you have beaten all the cups in the Grand Prix for Expert mode. When you beat a cup in master in 1st, you get a nice movie. Every character has a movie so get em!

Can't unlock everything in the game? Too hard for you? Well fear not, you can either cheat(loser), or you can go play F-Zero AX, and enter your Memory Card. Win, and you get unlockables that gets saved unto the card. So you can get it for a cost if you really want them.

However this game is not for the average gamer. This racing game is very challenging. If you are like me, you will do better. If you plan on buying this game and suck and die on Pong when the ball comes to you on the first time, then I suggest sticking with something more easier. If you suck at racing games, this is a no, no. But if you really just want to play it, you will have fun. Even if you suck at games. It gets the 5 out of 5.

THE GOOD:
Same old game, new twisted plot and break neck speed.
Grafx-great
sound-unmatched (what else is new)
fun-my wife is better, but eh, not bad
replay-maybe

THE BAD:
have to buy EVERYTHING! EVEN THE NEXT CHAPTER IN THE STORY! screw that!

SUMMARY:
F-0 has reached a new peak with this one. I can't say that I didnt think about taking it back for awile, but it did grow on me. 30 racers, custom pods, killer speeds, new challanges, insane courses, everything we have all known and loved from the SNES days. However, I don't like the idea of having the buy my next chapter in the story line and I dont like having to buy new pods besides the four I start with. You know what, nevermind, this game sux. I hate it. Don't buy it. It's worth renting and playing with frinds at a party, but sex is so much better (one player or two). OK OK I can be honest. F-Zero has always been good. And this is no exception. However if your not a real fan of either racing games or F-Zero in general, it's really not worth the effort of trying.
