SUMMARY:
This is fantastic! Get this if you have a GameCube and didn't! Explore worlds, learn awesome moves, get a water gun, play levels that seem impossible, and clean the Island of goop! Also this is like the sequel to Super Mario 64, Super Mario 64 had 120 stars, and Super Mario Sunshine has 120 Shine Sprites! The stars were replaced with moving suns! Collect coins, do intense levels, this game is DA BEST! The levels are LOOOOOONG type, that type that takes 10 minutes to complete. Even if you aren't a Mario Fan, i...

  • Great color
  • Different colored Yoshi's that spit juice
  • Different islands with different theme's
  • Paradise look to the game
  • Great 3-D environments

    THE BAD:
There is nothing really that bad in this game. Even if you don't like Mario games this one is great fun.

    SUMMARY:
I love this game. Mario has great moves such as flips, jumps, slides, swimming and other great acrobatic moves. In some stages you will lose your jetpack and be forced to complete old school Mario levels. There are no stars in this game. They replaced stars with Shine Sprites. Little sun looking stars. The more you get the more the clouds around the island clear out. The sun will come back. The...

+ FLUDD is a cool idea
    + Easy to learn controls
    + Boss battles are fun
    + The levels are awesome
    + Great graphics
    + 120 Shines to collect

    THE BAD:
    - Camera may screw up
    - Some evil textures
    - Bosses are a bit too easy
    - Lag in final boss fight

    SUMMARY:
Super Mario Sunshine was an unbalanced game. The vacation theme ruined it in some peoples eyes, and some people thought 64 was better. Honestly, I think SMS is a huge success for a launch title on the Cube. Great graphics, good control system and lots of freedom.

    GRAPHICS

Mario Sunshine has some incredibly desgined worlds.

Super Mario Sunshine is a very pretty game. It puts the Gamecubes graphics to superb use, as all the worlds are filled...

"Mario. Just the name alone brings fond memories of coin collecting, raccoon suits and Saturday morning cereal. The spearhead of Nintendo finally rears his head and makes his presence known in the next gen world. With nothing but hype surrounding the portly plumber this last year, how could it possible meet the expectations of millions of fans spanning across the world?"

    Intro
The story of Mario is quite a simple one. Advertising. Anything with the classic red hat and black mustache simple pulls in the money for Nintendo. Shigeru Miyamoto's creation ran rampant in literally every decade since its existence. Mario was branded on everything from cereal to toothpaste, and from video games to squirt guns. Unrightfully branded as "kiddie karts", the legacy of Mario appeals to all generations and each release is successful in its own way.

While most of the Mario series have no deep story (save Paper Mario...

    THE GOOD:
The great sequal to the legendary game Super Mario 64. An truely superlative game.

    THE BAD:
The retro levels were a bit hard.

    SUMMARY:
For six years, Nintendo fans have been waiting for the sequal of Super Mario 64. Nintendo even had to do the unthinkable and release the Gamecube without a Mario title - the first time ever that a Nintendo console has been released without the red-capped plumber leading the parade. And now, after nearly a year of speculation, misinformation, and anticipation, Shigeru Miyamoto's Super Mario Sunshine is finally here - and it blows all expectations away with a jet-powered water pack. As the name suggestes, Super Mario Sunshine finds Mario, Princess Peach, and all their mushroom friends taking a vacation on the sunny, tropical Isle Delfino, home to a luxurious resort hotel and a state-of-the-art amusment park amoung other attractions. When the plane lands our heros find the island covered in graffiti and...

    THE GOOD:
    The graphics

    Similar to Super Mario 64

Sometimes you get to ride on Yoshi.

    Challenging

The addition of Fludd to help you get throught the levels.

    THE BAD:
    A little too challenging

The camera can cause problems sometimes.

    SUMMARY:
    Difficulty: Hard

This is pretty good Mario game. Princess Peach goes on vacation and got kidnapped by Baby Bowser/Bowser Jr who dresses up like Mario. It's up to Mario to save her.

I reccomend this game to anyone who enjoyed Super Mario 64 since it's a simalar game. If you like Super Mario 64 then this game shouldn't disappoint you. Even if you liked older Mario games like Super Mario World then you might like this game too since it's a Mario games and it is challenging. If you liked Super Mario 64 then buy this game.

    I rate this game a 4.3/5

    FLUDD adds variety
    Cool lighting
    Lots of collectibles
Has hours and hours of play time
    More variety than most RPG's
    Yoshi appears!

    THE BAD:
Blue Coins can get annoying to find

    Some levels are almost impossible

    SUMMARY:
Mario and friends land on tropical Isle Delfino hoping for a relaxing vacation. However, trouble brews when a shady villain paints graffiti all over the Island. According to eyewitness reports, the culprit had a mustache, overalls, and a hat with an M on it. Mario is falsely accused and must clean up the entire Island. So begins another adventure!

There are tons of areas to explore and lots of Shine Sprites (the equivalent of Stars) to collect. There are 7 areas to explore, with 11 Shines in each one. But of course, there are a lot more than 77 Shine Sprites, and you'll have to search high and low for every single one.
