THE GOOD:Voice acting is good,the graphics are fantastic,a couple of new things as well,such as extra cutscenes,the ability to throw magazine clips,a book with a girl from Eternal Darkness,yadayada.
THE BAD:
They take away some of the accents,like Natasha Romanenko's and Mei-Ling's.The storyline is the same as the original,so its not that much worth buying if you've played the original.
SUMMARY:
Two years ago,i borrowed the original game for PS1 from a friend,because the one i had only had the first disk and locked up at the part where you meet Meryl in the bathroom.I also had a code disk that gave me some stuff.Even with the stuff,me and my other friend had a hard time beating the game.We had fun with the stealth suit and the guards.Anywhoo,it was a fun experience.We beat the game in about week.(everytime i went over to his house,i played it with him since he kept it)We stayed up all night to beat it when i spent the night.(I would like to point out that alaska is no where near like that,except for maybe up north by barrow and the Bering Sea,where the game is located at.)I rented this game on saturday because i didn't know what it would be like.Its not all that great.If you've played the original,you've played this.Only buy it if you want to relive the game on a more graphitized system.Sure,it has a couple of new stuff,but it's worthless all the same.
