People say that The Twin Snakes is not graphically on par with Sons of Liberty, and they naturally blame the Nintendo Gamecube. I disagree. I have not seen such beautiful graphics on ANY NGC game, and this beats out 99% of all Playstation 2 games I've ever played or seen. It's got the SoL standards, but with a better storyline.
Story: 11/10
The classic story remade, simple as that.
Gameplay: 9/10
Since this is the first MGS game to hit NGC, the controls are strange for us MGS veterans. It's not pressure-sensitive, and lacks enough buttons to have very comfortable controlling. You have to use combinations in this where it's a single button in SoL, an example: to lower your gun, you don't let up the pressure slowly on the button, instead, you press another button to "safety" the gun. Very frustrating and not too flowing.

First off Resi:Remake was amazing, people moaned they changed it & added things, new areas, new plot etc. Metal Gear Solid without a doubt one of the greatest games EVER! made, gets a remake with konami changing slight areas and slight bits of the plot and people still moan - you would moan if they made big changes, so they dont change the greatest game ever & u still moan. MGS:TS IS NOT A SCAM its all it claims 2 be, which is a remake of the greatest game ever - with enhanced visuals & everything MGS2 had to offer placed within it.
THE GOOD: -very good introduction for people who haven't played it on the PS/didn't quite get mgs2 -Cutscenes are amazing, graphics have a nice facelift -game is engrossing; way better story than mgs2
THE BAD: -fun ends -veterans/people who've played again might be a little bored(but will enjoy the new stuff)
SUMMARY: Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes is an awesome remake (good job to those at Silicon Knights) of the game for the playstation 1 that was quite possibly the best game for the system, from it's rich storyline, awesome cutscenes, and fun gameplay. This action-packed adventure for the Nintendo Gamecube is sure to please. The graphics are superb and the cutscenes are better than some of those B-movies. The voices from the PS1 have been redone, and lines have been added/cut (Mei-Ling has an American accent! woop woop). Concept: Innovative and extremely compelling. You are Solid Snake, a soldier brought out of retirement to undergo another mission. His mission? Infiltrate Shadow Moses Island in Alaska that has been taken over by terrorists, save 2 hostages, find out if the terrorists have the ablity to launch a nuclear weapon, and take out his old squad, who are leading the terrorists. The story takes many twists and turns, but never gets too complicated, unlike the sequal. The story is riveting and will keep you on the edge of your seat till the end!

SUMMARY: This game is a remake of the original Metal Gear Solid for PS1. In my opinion, the original MGS was the greatest game that I have ever played. But that was before I played this game.
When I first played the original, I never knew how good it would be until I looked at myself playing it, thinking about it, or writing about it almost 24/7. The moments in the game, from the stealth element to Psycho Mantis to Meryl's Codec to the ketchup, it is the best game ever. I was anticipating the remake for months after I heard about it. SUMMARY: I must say that I really enjoyed MGS:TTT. I reccomend this game to any person new to the MGS series. Well to start out MGS:twin Snakes is a complete remake that can be look at in two ways. The first way, which im sure you heard by now, is a awesome remake of one of the finest games in Playstation history. The second way would be a remake that offers nothing new.
