P.N. 03

THE BAD:
D-Pad can be kinda awkward to use for special attacks and very little interaction between the character and her world.

SUMMARY:
It's a good fun game, but I would like it better if they actually showed the events that lead to the colony being wiped out.
Also, some character developement would be good, between Vanessa and other characters (i.e. before she reaches the destroyed colony).

The game has taken quite a beating from reviewers, but their opinion is just a guide, as is mine...so don't be put off too easily by anything you hear.

Overall, this game is well worth the money, as it is very replayable, has a unique battle system, great graphics and engaging combat scenes.

A 'MUST HAVE' for any GameCube owner

This is one of thee worst game ever made,I'd rather play pong all day than play this,The music is cool,but thats the only good thing about the game,and 30.00 that you spend ani't worth the stupid thing.
The story,wepons,enimes.
every thing about this game is stupid,it way to easy,even set on the higher diffecult lvls,and the bosses,All you have to do is use one energy drive move and they die.

This is thee crappest game on the market,don't buy,it's not even worth renting,I beg you!please don't even consider this game!PLease!

and I must say,that when your playing,it's so easy to dogde and move around from your ennimes,I think that you would have more fun throwing thumb tacks up in the air and chatching them with your eyes,This is a horrible game.I don't mean to be rude or anything,but this game plain right out sucked!

THE BAD:
Learning curve for controls is a little steep at first. High difficulty level starting out. Game's rather short.

SUMMARY:
This is a rather unique title among shooters. The main character, Vanessa Schneider, has been hired by a mystery man to infiltrate the facility of a group that killed her parents. She's armed with a hi-tech Aegis Suit & some sweet dancing moves.
I don't know what's more fun about this game-playing & making Vanessa get her groove on blasting robots, or sitting back & watching this poetry in motion? There's even a DDR-style combo counter that can help you rack up big points for speed & accuracy. Only things I really don't like are there's no built-in level map, so you'll find yourself going in circles quite a bit in areas.
Also, it's a very short title-unless you're obsessed with playing the bonus missions and unlocking everything, you'll be through with this game in about 5 hours.
As far as these shooters go, this title has enough going for it to separate itself from the rest of the field-not to mention the dancing moves add to the fun. Add this to your library if you don't have a shooter...and if you do, then at least rent this title so you can get your groove thing on! And play while listening to "Shake Your Booty" for more fun!

THE BAD:
Not much really!

SUMMARY:
When I first heard of this game, I new I had to try it out, and now thatI have I must say that I'm better for it. I'm not much of an old school player, but this game is bare bones old style game play. Truthfully speaking, I can't think of a game that you can fire, and then take cover interchangeably. I love this style of gameplay...just like an old western. The controls make this adventure that much more enjoyable, using the shoulder triggers to strave left or right, and further enhancing her moves by adding a duck to a roll move, and or jumping. Vanessa is also a treat to watch, as she cooly taps and moves to the constant beat of accomanying tunes, her moves are graceful, and threatning at the same time. Stripped down, this game is all out fun, simply find the target and fire as quickly as possible, yet with the addition of Vanessa's cool look and moves, and the use of terrain as cover, this game has a touch of strategy added to it, well at least for me it does. Graphically, P.N.03 is no Splinter Cell, but it's pleasing enough so that the gameplay is unaffected. In fact you really never notice the surroundings. I feel this is a pleasant surprise from Capcom, and I for one would like to see it visit the other two platforms.

THE BAD:

SUMMARY:
Correction. THIS IS THE BEST GAME KNOWN TO MAN. It's action is jaw-dropping, the character has the best dance-related moves I've ever seen, and that's just the beginning of the list! I would like to tell you something. If you look deeply into it, you'll realize that it is unique. Unique is the key word there. Who cares if it has only 2 environment types? IT'S UNIQUE. Who cares about the control's configuration? IT'S UNIQUE. Who cares if she can't jump while firing, and her turning capability? IT'S UNIQUE. Let me tell you something. Other games just use the already-created genres, (I'm not trying to insult anybody!) but P.N.03 steps into a new genre, one that the world has never seen before. Sure, people say that this is a copy of Devil May Cry, but does it have P.N.03's environments and other elements? I love this game. Really. The controls and background fit the game very well, and is just a joy to play. I never get bored with this awesomely perfect experience.
