Gamecube has, unlike the N64, not been blessed with that many world-class platformers. Actually, even several years after it release, the only really big blockbuster platformer on the console is Mario Sunshine, which was an excellent title, don’t get me wrong, but it has to be said that that doesn’t speak of great quantity of strong platformers. Fortunately Rayman 3 helps the situation a bit.

Visually, it is beautiful, which is no surprise when we’re talking about a Rayman game. Amazingly colorful, sharp and pretty, this is what we can call eye-candy. Sound wise things aren’t quite as good, sure the tunes are pretty nice, and the sound-effects leave little to be desired, but much is spoiled by annoying voice-acting. Unlike in Rayman 2, there is real speech in the game, but it feels horribly out of place and the so-so quality of it doesn’t improve things. Really, gibberish-speech really suits this kind of game much better.

THE GOOD:
This game is so funny, and Globox is so cute! The graphics are good, especially during cut scenes. There are a lot of worlds, and it's fun to get a lot of points for extra stuff.

THE BAD:
Andre annoys me sometimes, and the last boss is kind of stupid. They have no Zombie Chickens. *starts crying*

SUMMARY:
Just thinking about this game makes me laugh. The cut scenes where the Teensies try to get Andre out of Globox are so funny. I mean, how can't it be funny? Huh? Huh? Huh? Like I said, it's funny. When you fight Reflux for the first time, he's cool. Some of the voices annoy me, but very few games have good voices. This game is kind of challenging, which is good. The videos on how to kill Rayman are awesome. I hope they come out with a Rayman 4.

THE GOOD:
Great graphics, fun levels, new snapshot mode, plenty of extras and bonuses, good music/sounds.

THE BAD:
Pretty short, some mild crude humor, sometimes challenging to collect everything.

SUMMARY:
Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc is possibly the best Rayman game. You have tons of new features in Rayman 3 than you ever did in Rayman or Rayman 2: The Great Escape. While Rayman 2 was a fantastic game, it can't live up to the extra features of Rayman 3.

Rayman 3 has great controls hat are easy to get used to. The music and graphics are splendid, and the sounds are excellent. The difficulty level is not so hard; you'll most likely complete in within 3 days. The cons about the game are some very, very light crude humor, like crack jokes, and things like that, but you can't really tell. Other than that, this game is truly awesome.

THE GOOD:
There is more to the 'Bad Guys' in this than previous Rayman games... you think you're done when out comes another! But then there is often a small supply of renewing red lums to aid you in your conquest.

THE BAD:
Didn't like not knowing what % of the game overall i had completed - i didn't realise i had defeated the last boss until i had beat him.
Some levels are *so* frustrating with the times they give you to complete tasks using special powers.

SUMMARY:
I loved this game. Great graphics and sound effects (especially liked the Kanareans who wanted to "tear off my skin")!
Just go buy it, ok?
