THE GOOD: -Impressive Graphics -Bone-chlling music -New enemies -Helps shed light on the story -Okay voice acting
THE BAD: -Sucky AI -No Crimson Heads -Zombies don't follow you through doors -The voice acting isn't really mature -Can be repetitive -Characters feel sluggish -Too much backtracting
SUMMARY: Concept Resident Evil 0 is a prequel to the other Resident Evil titles. The game explains alot about the series but some parts of the game is confusing until later in the game when their explained in more detail. Graphics Resident Evil 0 is one of the most attractive games i've seen on the Nintendo Gamecube. The shadow and lighting effects are really realistic, the level design is incredibly put together. The characters are highly detailed. Sound The background music in this game will at times scare the hell out of you, but sometimes the most terrifying music is...
* Not enough in depth story (to explain certain things)
* Team coperation is annoying (you have to move from character to character alot)
* Less storage space for items
*Harder Puzzles
SUMMARY: Summary:
Though it may be a good game, welcomes back old character Rebbeca chambers, and new lead character Billy, the new characters lack in depth roles.
And considering RE zero was supposed to be set before Re remake, it did not do a good job explaining some of the storyline we were hoping to hear, like how everything started!.
I found the new partner thing annoying, where you have to use the strong and the weak for different things, like billy did the...
THE GOOD: None of them are good except the graphics....................
THE BAD: BAD BAD BAD BAD Everything BAD BAD BAD BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing had to do with the games. Stupid monsters like giant lobster, and the zombies are easy to kill. This game is messed up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SUMMARY: A bad game I expect it better than RE2 and Code Veronica. This is one of the worst games I have played this whole year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some other users had raised the game because they say it's better than Re1, because the game is hard, and the story that you have to understand don't make sents. No thumbs up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Graphics 8/10 Sounds 3/10 Story 1/10 Gameplay 2/10 Action 2/10 Overall 3/10 a messed up game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE GOOD: Awesome graphics, new characters and enemies, a new mansion, and a fitting storyline
SUMMARY: The developers at CAPCOM strike again with an amazing and chilling prequel to the groundbreaking Resident Evil series. Featuring only the best in gameplay and cinematic graphics, the player is dropped into the shoes of both rookie S.T.A.R.S. member Rebecca Chambers and escaped convict Billy Cohen as they face new evils, familliar zombies, and a new, gigantic mansion to go along with it.
Incorporating a new character-switch mode into the game, players can freely switch between both characters during the course of the game, while allowing the other to either follow and fight alongside of them, or to remain idle and stay put. It's a clever system with few flaws, and opens up brand new gameplay and puzzle opportunities. Along for this chilling ride are brand new baddies, including giant frogs, 'nightcrawers', and leeches, followed by familliar...
THE GOOD: 1. New RE game 2. play as two people 3. new settings 4. new enemies, people, and weapons. 5. Great voice acting 6. Great graphics for a GC game 7. Great back grounds 8. Fun unlockables
THE BAD: 1. Bad camera angles 2. Stiff characters 3. maybe easy for some people
SUMMARY: This is just like any other Resident Evil game. But what makes it different is that you have two characters and you can switch between. With new enemies and bosses, and weapons makes it all the better. But no game is perfect and that is why i gave it what i did. If you can get past the stiff characters and same bad camera angles then you will love this game. And with RE4 coming out soon this is a good game to play to pass time. Also with its unlockables and different game modes makes it all the more fun to play over and over.
Switch between Rebecca and Billy to solve Umbrella's mistery.
New, dangerous enemies.
Some new weapons and enemies.
Leech Hunter, a mini-game with the purpose to unlock weapons and more stuff.
The claustrophobic horror atmosphere.
THE BAD:
It's an easy game, and I expected it to be longer than RE Remake, which toke me about 1 month to get finally complete, unlocking everything.
SUMMARY: Though I already bought this game a year ago, I'll still do a review. This game is nearly perfect, though it hasn't the "touch" and "feeling" Resident Evil Remake gave me. Sure, there are cool monsters and a lot of places to visit, but this game wasn't as long as Resident Evil Remake was. It was easy, and you couldn't unlock as much as in Remake. Though Remake was a lot better, this game still rocks, and you should definetly buy it if you...
THE GOOD: Ground breaking graphics and excellent partner mode and the graphics are surely the best for a resident evil i've seen so far
THE BAD: Too less ammo to waste, no item boxes, REBECCA ! plus the role of albert wesker in this game is almost as if a cameo appearance, there should have been more action from his part
SUMMARY: Resident evil zero is definetly the most advanced resident evil so far, after the simply amazing resident evil remake capcom probably needed to follow it up with something even better, while this game may not be as scary as the REmake was it still has its own good points compared to the game, this is the first resident evil game with a partner feature which is the most sensible thing even, i mean who would wanna split up in a place filled with zombies when you can stay togather, the cast of this game is excellent and the dialoge as allways cheesy. The graphics are stunningly beautiful because its pre-rendered art just...
SUMMARY: only a 4 hour game even the ultra easy 2 hour metal gear had loads of replay value. capcom needs to stop making RE sequels and start making games based on RE that can stand on its own.
SUMMARY: Spending my past few years as a Nintendo junkie, I didn't get to expeience the Resident Evil saga, until I got a PS2, rented CODE Veronica, and loved it. Then I tried the Resident Evil REmake for Gamecube. The controls took some getting used to, but still played it. And I got scared the hell outta me and quit playing, after getting a wee bit older, RE0 came out, and I loved it. It wasn't as scary as the first, but got scared, still. Anyway the amasing graphics pass it off as what is agruably the best looking game on the market. Some control changes make it easier to play then its proceder, and the zapping system works well. I wouldn't recomened it for big panseys, because this game will scare the freakin' hell out of you!
THE GOOD: super good graphics, nice game play, cool character designs, and realisic monsters.
THE BAD: the controls are a bit difficult to master, not a lot of bosses/monsters, and way too much little puzzles.
SUMMARY: Capcom had made this cool game to test the limits of my little gamecube! This game, I dare say, has the best graphics in, if not all video games, the RE series, so that makes it worth $50! Except the superb graphics, I loved the monster designs and light effects, for the zombies and the hunters walk and run in an absolutely lifelike way, and the blood splatter effect is so great, that it scared the daylight out of my little brother for a few minutes! Like all games, this game does have a little flaw, for there is not too much enemies to fight, so unlike RE 2 and RE 3, but a bunch of way too annoying puzzles.
