THE GOOD:
Good Graphics and Sound, missions right from the movies, smooth gameplay, and overall has nice controls

THE BAD:
Too short, and the mission "Endurance"

SUMMARY:
Rouge Leader is a very exciting, very well done first generation game for the Nintendo Game Cube. It has outstanding graphics, great game play, and many famous battle scenes, which include both death stars, and the battle of Hoth. Although, with only ten main missions five bonus ones, and a practice area, the games runs a little short. Never the less, the missions are clever, and well done.

The graphics look sharp and crisp. The amount of polygons in each ship is amazing and the level of detail on the playable craft is superb! Each ship was very well done, and for the most part, pretty accurate. Running at a smooth 60 frames per second, this game looks good.

Right from the start, this game catches you. You start off with your first mission, trying to...

THE GOOD:
This game has really, really good graphics. I mean, how often do you see a ship at the ship selection screen and the ships have no visible pixels? I tried to see the pixels, but I didn't see any of them. Also, the ship selection is very cool, because you control a pilot who walks around and you go by the available ship that you want to fly in. Not to mention the awesome gameplay, and on some missions you play as Wedge Antilles. Sometimes there is an in-mission ship selection place, where you switch between two ships.

THE BAD:
To get to the bottom line, some levels are very hard.

SUMMARY:
One of the best things in the game is the part where you attack the Star Destroyer. The level is Razor Randevous and you are in the B-Wing,which has triple blaster cannons, an ion cannon, engines (as always), and twelve instead of twenty proton torpedos. There is also a targeting computer, which can see enemies and allies if they are behind...

THE GOOD:

Graphics
Simply beautiful! The cockpit views are vividly re-created in astonishing detail straight from the movies. The targeting computer looks cool and is very useful! The levels look great and individual in their own way. The water looks great and realistic.

Sounds
Straight from the movies, what more can i say? Great voice acting even for Luke if its not Mark.

GamePlay
Fun and innovative, taking down an AT-AT walker never gets old. Flying through the core of the Death Star and battling through Hoth are only some of the many wonders of this game.

If you like Star Wars you should already have it.
If you don't you better run out and get it.

THE BAD:
Quite difficult

SUMMARY:
Extras
-never gets boring
-graphics are stunning
-lots of ships
-many secret ships
-tons of replay value
-many levels including some secret ones
-most levels are...

THE GOOD:
I love the game Star Wars was the first game i got for the gamecube and i know it was worth the money!

THE BAD:
It is a little difficult

SUMMARY:
I think that everybody should get this game if they think they can handle the stress of trying to beat it.

THE GOOD:
Just about everything - but especially the graphics. When the Yavin level opened, I thought I was seeing a clip from the movie, but, as the ships moved closer, my jaw dropped, and I realised that these were the graphics!

THE BAD:
Ocassional inaccuracies (such as the 3rd shield generator on the Star Destroyers - they are really the power generator in the SW universe) Nothing major.
Could maybe have used more missions.

SUMMARY:
Some people have said its too hard to get golds, but really that just gives it replay value - the missions are neither too easy or too difficult.
The mission designs are all relly clever - rather than invent a plot (as in the N64 version), the developers have eother taken key scenes such as the Death Star Trench run, or the battle of Endor, and thrown you into the battle; or they have taken plot points from the film and expanded them - for example in one mission, you must steal the Imperial Shuttle...

THE GOOD:
the graphics, the gameplay, the depth, the replayability, the difficulty...no questions, this game kicks

THE BAD:
the endurance mission, no multiplay or co-op

SUMMARY:
star was rogue leader is a dogfight done right. this is by far the best looking and sounding game out there. the graphics always blow me away everytime i play the sound is really just the icing on the cake. down to every last detail, this game is done right, from the effect of blasting through a tie and hearing the engine sputter and strain just before it blows into oblivion, to the sun rising over the mountains on hoth, to the gassious clouds that surround the skies of bespin. with fantastic detail taken from the movie, youd swear tat you were flying an luke skywalker's x-wing down the trench of the death star. however, rogue leader does have its drawbacks (very few) the lack of a multi player makes this game fun for 1 player only. sure its fun to watch, but you cant...

THE GOOD:
The graphics,the gameplay,the huge arsenal of ship array,the texture,the movie scenes,holloywood vocals.

THE BAD:
Cheap camera angles in TIE persuits, undetailed explosions of player craft,no co-op or 2-player mode.

SUMMARY:
Simply put, Rogue Leader is hands down the best dog fighting space adventure game on the market. It has real time voices from the actual movie actors, it has high resolution and detailed polygons, the dolby digital surround sound is a wonder, and the player crafts are simply astonishing! The wide diversity in player craft manuvers allows smooth gameplay and even distrabutions among player craft. The TIE craft and other imperial craft could'nt look better. The TIEs can fully interact in 3-D enviorments with awe. Wether its a TIE in pursuit or the sudden explosion of the underbelly, the game goes beyond extrodinary heights. I fully recommend this game to those who are- crazed fans of the Star Wars Saga, Hard core...

THE GOOD:
Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron 2 is one of the most graphically impressing games I have yet to witness. The ships are beautiful and graceful, and the terrain of all the different planets looks amazing. I can't help but produce a school girl giggle as I fly through some of the missions, dropping bombs on walkers and watching them explode with realism. Even the videos make you want to cry with joy. Who could forget watching that large AT-AT fall to the ground after it's legs were choked by the speeder's wire? It even collapsed just as the real thing would have.

If you're thinking my review's score is based solely on the graphics, don't you worry your pretty little head. There's much more to it than that. It's truly the gameplay that makes it what it is. Some of the missions, especially later ones, make you just want to keep going. In one of the final levels, you participate in a full scale war with vast numbers of tie fighters and bombers. Not...

This game is a must-have for Star Wars Fans, and space shooter fans alike.

Excellent graphics, great storyline, the best in sound great gameplay to keep challenged for months to come.

There are loads of stuff to unlock as well such as art galleries, and director videos, and even secret ships!

If you get one Gamecube title this would have to be hit, it already has a good name coming from the smash hit Rouge Squadron for N64, this game is excellent in every aspect put to it
THE GOOD:
Amazing graphics
Good number of different ships to control
Mighty good soundtrack
Good combination of ground and space levels
A medal-system to boast replay-value

THE BAD:
Too few levels
Too hard gold medal demands
At times very frustrating

SUMMARY:
Graphics: Incredible explosions, laser-fire, ground-textures, it looks almost as good as the movies themself. A fair bit of slowdown, though, but nothing major.

Sound: Great explosion-sounds, tons of Star Wars tunes, some of them original, but they all sound brilliant. Good speech as well.

Gameplay: Lots of ships to fly, good control, varied missions (both on land and space), but insanely difficult at times, more frustrating than rewarding at those points.

Lifespan: Not that many levels, but many secrets to collect, the medal-system boasts lastability. No multiplayer-fun, which is a real pity.

Overall: Very...
