SUMMARY:
I wasn't even aware that there had been a third game in this series until recently and now I've realised that ignorance really was bliss in this case. This game doesn't really deserve to carry the Golden Axe name because it doesn't do any justice to the series at all. The story is similar, the Golden Axe has been stolen (again) and the land is in danger (again), but that's not my real gripe with this game.
As it starts off, it looks to be pretty good, the graphics seem fairly sharp and certainly not worse than Golden Axe 2. Gilius Thunderhead isn't playable (why they'd take him out is beyond me) but he's there at the start and sends you on your quest.
