Gameplay The Gameplay for this game is excellent, it comes with 70 brand new mini-games to tryout. The boards are like Mario Party 2, and so is collecting coins. There are also a few more items that are very interesting and useful. This game is so fun to play and is the best party game ever. So what ya need to do, is go get 3 friends, and party all night playing!! You won't get tired of this game, trust me! . More Boards + More Games = More Fun!. Anyway, there is also a duel mode in which you can get many different partners that may perform different tasks to help you out in this game. They each have different power, life, and defense.
Mini-Games Mario's Puzzle Party In this Tetris-style puzzler, you can be the hit of the block party by eliminating multiple blocks at the same time. Match colors and use Thwomp to squish blocks.
This game has SO much going for it! As far as game setup, there are three game files to play and save in. In those game files, there are two different modes to choose from: the one player STORY MODE option (for times when there are no friends around to play), which unlocks new game boards, and the one-to-four player PARTY MODE, which is similar to the first two MP games. In the PARTY mode, besides the usual game boards (now called Royal Battle Boards), there is also a Duel Battle Board option, which is just for two players, and you battle each other in mini-fights using character partners as you make your way around the board). There is also, as usual, the Mini-Game room, where you can just play the Mini-Games without having to play on a board. There are two new characters to the MP series now, Daisy and Waluigi, which brings to total characters up to eight. As far as game play, there are many new additions this time around. For starters, there are 70 *ALL NEW* Mini-Games!...
This game in the Mario Party series is the best one. Each Mario Party game is also improving. (more items, more minigames....) MP3 has more features and minigames then its predecesors and comes with a really cool 2P mode! This game will give you endless hours of entertainment so I suggest that if you like games such as this, then this game is definately something you should consider getting.
THE GOOD: It's got new mini games, most are fun and theres quite a few of em. Also a new mode, Duel mode, probably the best feature in the game.
THE BAD: a few mini games are impossible like marios puzzle party, where you need to get 100 points, i get like 25 before a computer wins. pure luck is what you need to win, you only need skill for a few mini games, if you set the mini games to easy, a two year old would have a fighting chance. in three turns another player can shove you out of 1st place into 4th. the bad dosent end there.
SUMMARY: A few new features appear some good some bad. game guys are bad, they are con-men. they make you bet all of your coins on some ridiculacy tilted odds, like 32/1, but if you win, you basicly have infinite coins for the rest of the game. the duels have become 1 vs 1 mini games, not "who pushes buttons faster" type things. overall this game is just as good as any mario party.
THE GOOD: The Multiplayer modes are really fun, and so are the mini-games
THE BAD: Some mini-games are choosen to play a bit too much! I think on the next Mario Party (4), for Gamecube, they should have at least 200 different mini-games!!
SUMMARY: The only bad part about this game is that, whenever you complete an adventure board in party mode, nothing happens. I think it should be like the first Mario Party when you save up your coins and stars, and do something with them. I think that would be a really good idea for Mario Party 4. Also I think if they want more people to buy this game they should have about 200 new mini-games, and approximatly 20-25 new adventure boards. (battle royal & deul). I think that it is great that the items are a less amount of coins, and that you can get up to 3 items at a time. Even though they have 8 chacters, they should have way more. Such as Mario, Luigi, Waluigi, Wario, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, D.K., Toad,...
THE GOOD: This game is pretty fun. The music and graphics are pretty good. You can make it easy, medium, or hard. Yay!
THE BAD: The annoying little sounds the characters are always making gets annoying. It's okay for Peach to act all whiny and say, "I lost!", once, but not during every single game she loses, especialy if she loses every single one.
SUMMARY: By the time I'm writing this, there are five Mario Party games. They don't seem to be much different than eachother. This game was fun, but why must there be five? Why?! I almost got tricked into buying the fourth one, but no! not this video game freak! If you already have a Mario Party game, I highly suggest keeping it that way. I mean, five, come on! There's a lot of Zelda games, but they're all different...usually! Anyway, the music and graphics are good. Donkey Kong looks absolutely terrifying, though. You can also make it however hard you want and choose from eight...
THE GOOD: Better graphics than its predecessors. More minigame variety. New 2-player Duel mode.
THE BAD: Nothing.
SUMMARY: If MP2 was already really good, MP3 found ways to make it even better. There are not only more minigames, but a beter variety and they're more fun-how can you not love a game that spoofs Whack-A-Mole: You get to whack those Baby Bowsers with a hammer as they pop out of pipes! There's also a better variety of boards as well, plus you can unlock 2 new characters-Daisy & Waluigi! As fun as the regular game is, Duel Mode is a total blast-you "hire" familiar Mario friends & enemies and let them do the battle for you! Their fight scenes are short but quite entertaining. Story Mode also returns, pitting you up against the Millenium Star in an exciting, if not difficult, finale. Even if you already have MP2, it's worth getting this one to replace it. Definitely buy it if this will be your first MP title-it even surpasses the...
SUMMARY: This is a fun Mario Party with lots of cool boards and minigames that will last a lifetime. This game features an all new handicap, so you can beat everyone else, no matter what! The minigames definetly help this game, because they are so darn fun! One you get to eat pizza!!! It makes me hungry though... Hide and seek, jump rope of differant kinds, definetly worth buying. The new charecters both appered in Mario Tennis 64 and one in Super Mario Land. Waluigi and Daisy. They are some of my fave Mario Charecters. The music is wonderful, ecspecially Creepy Cavern, Waluigi'sIsland and A desert place. I always look around at the board to see the cool features they put in. All in all, this game is neat so buy it.
Newly added characters that the first two Mario Partys don't have.
Some of the mini-games are cool.
THE BAD: Some board designs aren't too great.
Even though the graphics are good they are stil a littel sloppy but hey it is on the Nintendo 64 after all. Not GameCube
SUMMARY: Difficult: Easy
Well I but this game a little awhile but I rented once about 2 years ago. It's a decent game it the Mario Party series. But then again every Mario Party game is good. Even the lowpoints in the series like Mario Party 1 and 4 are good. Atleast in my opinion. Like in every Mario Party game you can choose Mario, Luigi and friends and hit the dice and play from a variety of mini-games. Some of them are pretty cool.
If you are a Mario Party fan you might want to buy this one. If you never played a Mario Party game before then you might want to rent this first. If you like it then...
